Uniq Carbon RS CF Spoiler Installed / Reviewed!! **PICS**
Hi everyone, just wanted to share my latest mod with the rest of the forum.
As many of you have seen, Uniq Carbon recently posted a group buy for their Uniq Carbon RS CF Spoilers... after seeing the design doing some research on the company, I decided to shoot them a PM here on mbworld. They are based out of Vancouver and are themselves car enthusiasts, just like the rest of us. I'm always a sucker for new start-ups with a real passion for their cause -- it almost always means quality work. After a few quick PM exchanges with Andy @ Uniq Carbon, they promptly shipped me the spoiler. From date of order to delivery was 5 days (including weekend!!)... and that's from Vancouver to Texas (had to clear customs as well).
The spoiler was really well packaged to ensure no damage in delivery (although the box took a beating en route haha)
Pics of the spoiler:
Installation was pretty standard... removed the old spoiler with a heat gun and fishing line... then apply 3M double-sided tape (not included) around the sides of the spoiler and secure in place.
Installed photos:
The carbon fiber itself is really high quality, ZERO imperfections, the finish is silky smooth and glossy, and the fitment is perfect!! I'm loving the new spoiler... and the wife (who is much more aesthetically competent than I am) thinks it looks great too Thanks again to Andy and Uniq Carbon for a great experience.

Thanks guys! The diffuser is actually through a different distributor -- Uniq Carbon doesn't offer this style as a diffuser for the w205.. I believe they have the Brabus style diffuser and the GTC style diffuser. I'm saving up now for a few more carbon bits from Uniq Carbon =P

as far as sticking way out ?...... Its a bit decieving in that its wider than what you have and most of it lays on top of the trunk lid . It does hang out the back but not all that much as it kicks up through the center . The body of the car is long so the spoiler doesn't look too overpowering ( The angle I took makes it appear longer ). I think because my car is silver it stands out more than on the black one hence the reason I thought of painting it body colour but the carbon looks really nice on its own .

Is this spoiler heavy? I'm wondering if it contains resin, sorry that I have this doubt, first thing is the price is not high for 100% carbon fiber, second thing is that most carbon fiber pieces I have found so far are made of fiber glass with the laminated carbon fiber as top layer. I got a $1187 CAD brabus front lip from YomatoCarbon which is a Canadian company located in Montreal, they claimed it's genuine carbon fiber until the lip is easily destroyed by a bump, and the inside turns out to be fiber glass, I also got a trunk spoiler for $120 CAD from JBSpeeds for my previous C300, that thing is also fiber glass cuz it's way too heavier than I've imagined
