Catless DPs Installation - South Florida

Catless DPs Installation - South Florida
hi guys,

Just ordered catless downpipes from our friend Shardul here from the forums

I’m having a hard time finding a shop to install those to me without lowering the whole engine+transmission combo. I really don’t want to lower those to install the DPs given that the car is basically brand new.

Can you guys tell me if it’s possible to install those catless two-piece downpipes without lowering the engine+transmission?

For those living in South Florida - would you recommend a specific shop in the vicinity to install those for me?

One of my old customers uses Boca Tech call 561 395 0087 and mention Steve with the E55 and he will give you a good deal.

You can also PM longbow0404 he is in South Florida

I can't but if you find a top quality shop that does custom work let me know why and where. My 2018 C63S sedan is two weeks old at this point.

if you don't want to drop the tranny you have to cut the old pipes out. I dropped the tranny, easy enough and can go back to stock without welding.

Call marco at Billet design in pompano. He did my AMG GTS downpipes as well as ultra high end stuff (twin turbo lambo builds, Mclarens etc.) 954) 975-3557

No worries! for what its worth, Even Renntech cuts the factory down pipes off which in my mind is better than separating the engine trans combo. They just did mine last week and I LOVE IT. are you going to tune it as well?

I won't tune it for now. Car only has 2k miles hehe.

Definetely will look into tuning it for the future, for now I just want a better sound and a little more power. I think the car is powerful enough for what I use it.

Wife drives it during the week so if I can't make it a total monster yet

Ah gotcha. Are they catted or non catted downpipes? im not familiar with the ones you mentioned

They are 2-piece catless downpipes from Mike's customs

I'll install o2 sensors to avoid getting a CEL

Ok nice! if marco doesnt get back to you just call him again hes usually slammed but really knows his stuff. John 2 euroworks can also help.
