Hey guys, I managed to fit a 19x11 rims in the rear of my W205 C63S sedan. I believe I am the second person to do this on this forum as King Monkey? was the first person to fit a 20x11 on his sedan. His tires were 305/25/20 Pirelli P-zero which run skinny (lol) and he didn't share his specs as he got all his wheels from his friend's wheel shop. My specs are 19x9.5 +32 (with 3mm spacer) and 19x11 +60 (with 5mm spacer). The wheels are Forgestar CF5V custom offset forged monoblock wheels and the color is Bronze Burst.
setup looks killer. but are your sure those are monoblock forged? I thought forgestar only made rotary forged wheels. even their site has the CF5V listed as "Rotary Forged Flow Formed Barrel"
CF5Vs are Rotary Forged Monoblock Wheels. I am running 255/35/19 and 305/30/19 Nitto Invos. I have the KW height adjustable springs. The reason why I went with spacers is that not a single one on this forum has done a set up like mine and if they have, they weren't willing to share their offsets. I knew which offset I needed to go with without spacers but since I am the first one to try these sizes, I decided to go a little bit conservative on the offsets (by around 3~5mm) and space it out with spacers later. This conservative decision also took into account that maybe the wheels won't be exactly 60mm even if I asked for a 60mm offset since there could be some manufacturer inconsistency. Also, I am talking about a credit card gap of clearance with the struts, especially in the back which the fitment has to be at a perfect offset for it to work. I also had to shave off bolts inside my fender well so that it wouldn't rub against the rim and the tires.
These wheels are just deep concave. You can see the specifications on Forgestar's website for which offsets are which face. The rears are sticking out a little bit when it's at a standstill but as the shocks compress, the wheels suck right in. However, there is no room for the rears to sit further inside as it's already rubbing on the fender liner (only the fender liner which is not a big deal). You can adjust the poke of the fronts using spacers or different offset wheels.
The fronts wheels are sitting at 2.8 degrees of negative camber from natural lowering and the rears are at 2.6 degrees of negative camber.
I honestly can't tell much difference from these to the Michelin PSS other than the fact that the tires got so much wider and that you feel more things on the ground as you drive. I can tell you that these are much better than the Dunlop Sportmaxx tires I had after my Michelins wore out.
Its good to see a sedan running 305 wide!! I wish i could run the same wide, unfortunately my wheel set up and offset only allows 295s on the rears am still happy thou hehe. Enjoy your new wheels mate!
I have to say I'm super jealous. I wanted to do 19x11 so bad. I wasn't willing to risk losing money on HRE R101's not the cheapest wheel to just try to make a custom offset work. So I went 19x10.5 in a +53 offset with 305/30/19. They will be going on tomorrow with K-Mac Camber kits. So we will see how it goes.
