How to protect alcantara on steering wheel?[C63 Coupe]
Hi guys,
After 60.000km my steering wheel completely lost alcantara effect. Today I got a new one that looks fantastic.
What can I do to protect alcantara for the future?
Cost for new starring wheel is crazy, so I am not going spend money for this part again

I have more than one car with a completely Alcantara steering wheel (all around). And I have sweaty palms. So this is my solution, and I use them religiously: https://www.chesterjefferies.co.uk/m...riving-gloves/. 24,000+ miles on my 2017 C63S Edition 1 Coupe, and the steering wheel still looks brand new...

From the manufacturer.
Nothing I hate more than getting in a customers nice new AMG and seeing a steering wheel caked up and disgusting. People who use moisturizer and such are the ones who usually have issues. I put a ZL1 steering wheel in my wife's Sonic, it's Alcantara all around, and after well over a year it's still in excellent shape with no special cleaning or treatment, but she doesn't cover herself in oils and the few times I drive the car, my hands are always clean, I'm OCD about washing my hands anyway though, and I keep my wheels clean in all my cars.

When I got mine the steering wheel looked like it was done .It looked like old worn leather but I took some warm water w/ a dash of dish soap and a toothbrush and tried to clean it and you know what .......it came clean .I was shocked I never would have thought it would look like new but after about 30 minutes of light scubbing and also using a clean wet white towel after its like new again .Now i try to keep my hands off it in this areas unless necassary and I don't use hand lotion so it's still looks new ........ my problem now is how to clean the grey seat belts ? The prior owner and passenger wore some pretty dirty clothes ...... I can't find a easy way to clean them w/o them staining

Just my 2 cents.
You may use Sonax Alcantara Cleaner
https://smile.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_1_11?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=sonax+alcantara+cleaner&sprefix=alcantara +c%2Caps%2C152&crid=99ZLHN6DH2DO
Also, I use a Boars' Hair Detail Brush with Interior cleaner and then dry it with a microfiber cloth

Baby Wipes also works but it is not as good as the other 2 solutions.
