Extra Burble When Starting Car

Coming from M4, I'm used to starting the car while half depressing accelerator. This caused car to roar even more when started, yet sounded still natural.

When I tried to do it with C63S, I noticed the car didn't start if I depressed accelerator. Am I missing something?

If you're doing this in any car when it's cold, don't.

It's not flooring the pedal, it's boosting up to 3-4k. I think BMW has different programming which cuts energy until actually car starts.

If you have the push button start/stop, you’re supposed to step on the brake not the gas pedal, hahaha! Jk

yeah i wouldnt be revving a cold started car up to 4k right off the bat before the oil has a chance to move around and lubricate the engine. What you can do is depress the brake to start and as soon as it starts, push the accelerator down a bit to get your 3k revs, bit it's not something i would do personally.

There are a couple of ways to get the great sound on startup.
One is to press the start button twice with foot off the brake and then push the exhaust button to open the valves (if you have the performance Exhaust) and then put foot on brake and start normally.
The other is what I do and it is to program the I mode to have S+ in engine etc. and exhaust open so when I start the car, I start normally but as soon as I hit start button I move my finger straight to the dynamic mode switch and push up once to I mode and it will start with the valves open if you are quick. smiling I wake up the neighbors.
