2015 C63 S EDITION 1/ 2015 BMW X5M
Hands free trunk opener
just picked up 2015 C63S with power trunk. They demonstrated all the cool features on the car before I brought it home. They also demonstrated hand free trunk release and close but couple days later it stopped working. It opens fine with remote and keyless but does nothing with kicks. Anyone know the tricks?

Mine works best when I'm usually washing the car and running the wash mit at the bottom and just when you don't want it to open it opens lol .

The secret is not to kick it, you might hurt yourself, but to wave your foot from side to side under the centre of the boot/trunk. You might have to do that a couple of times.

Take your key out of your pocket. Won't have to have that happen again. Also won't have the doors randomly locking/unlocking when water hits the door handles.

That is not the best in my experience. Just go straight in and out in the center. If I try going back and forth it hardly ever works. Don't kick the car just go in and out.

I tried all different techniques.... I don’t know what the deal is... it worked when they demonstrated on my car a week ago and now it doesn’t... I made an appt so will see
