Simple mods to make stock exhaust louder?

Has anyone done a resonator delete and did it make a difference?

I have done a resonator delete on my other car, it did wake it up however it also caused drone inside the cabin. Would the same apply here too? Open to other ideas as well but only looking for relatively small mods as Id like to stick to the stock exhaust. Thanks.

Get the 2nd cat gutted, lovely sound, louder and deeper (open hollow chamber).

That probably wont be an option for me as I would have to get a tune then to get rid of the CEL

No you won't, it won't throw a cell.

True. I could probably do a secondary cat and resonator delete and replace them with a straight pipe. Only thing I would be concerned about is drone inside the cabin

There's a whole thread on this if you do a quick search.

2nd-cat delete, there is no resonator, there is no drone.

There was one year model that ASR module doesn't work on. ASR module gives you control over the PE valves.

I have a 2017. Can you go from 100% open using the module to going stock and using the exhaust button inside without plugging/unplugging unit?

Yes. You can go to stock and use the cockpit exhaust button by pushing the number 3 button on the ASR remote. You do not need to disconnect the device.

One version plugs in from outside the car. The new version get plugged in from inside the truck. It's best to get the version that works from inside the trunk.

FYI. The ASR only works with the performance exhaust and not the stock exhaust.

is it true the 2018s asr doesnt work because the exhaust valves are open 100% when you press the button?
