The ship will make its first stop in New Jersey and then couple more stops until it's here in California.
P.S. I saw a Mango Grey c63s coupe in person yesterday and it looked amazing. This was in Belmont, CA. So if the owner sees this, please post some photos

Ooff. That coupe has an unfortunate mix of options.

I like your build very much. Lots of good choices, and the BB Metalics I've seen in pictures have been very cool looking.
As for price, if they're telling you that you have to pay MSRP, I'd strongly consider walking out and finding another dealer. That's ridiculous.

What should I expect to get off MSRP? It is tough, as I am sure going to another dealer would push my build out another few months. I spec'ed this one exactly how I wanted and ordered it at the end of Jan. I hate waiting, so a few more months would be miserable!

I'd start by pushing hard for 10% off of MSRP, and threaten to take your order elsewhere. I'm sure you can negotiate them down at least 5%-7%. I don't know, maybe agree to take a 5% cash discount off of MSRP, and then another $5K in credit toward dealership-provided services and equipment (like paint protection wrap, tires, oil changes, etc.). It's really hard to say without knowing your exact circumstances. How far away is the other nearest dealer?
Look at it this way--to them you're a bird in the hand, and they know that if they let you get away, they'll be stuck trying to find someone else who wants a $100K blue C-series. That could take a while, and they'd probably have to sell it for around $90K just to finally unload it. They don't know how badly you want it, or that you'd really rather not wait another 3 months to get it. You've got the negotiating strength.
If you go to another dealer, they'd probably end up just trading your ordering dealer for that exact car anyhow. So you may not even have to wait.

That is a good idea, I have a close relationship with the dealer I am working on and he typically shoots us striaght. Was suprised to see how many others were getting good discounts. I am looking to lease it, but not opposed to buying. Just like the flexibility, as I tend to go through cars every 2 years or so. I am just excited to see this thing in person, can't wait either way!

You'll be happy either way, so if you can't score a great deal, don't let that spoil your enjoyment of the car. You can always make more money, but the memories of your car will last forever!
That said, don't let them take your money too easily...

I got $1500 off my convertible order. I ordered just about every option so MSRP is just north of $100,000. That's 1.5%. Not great, I guess, but I'm not going to lose sleep over a few thousand on a $100k car. You shouldn't either. You will lose sleep over the wait. I put my order in back in July and it's looking like it might not come in till April or May!

I agree, I won't lose sleep one way or the other, I spec'ed the car the way I wanted it and expected to pay money for the car. Just seeing on here that a few got some pretty good deals goes against what my dealer has told me. I have gotten 10+ cars from this guy for family and friends and every car has been the best deal I have seen from any dealer. It might be more frustration that this deal is different. I am going to get the car regardless and i will love it! Congrats on your car, based on an end of march build I am hoping to have mine early May!

Mine is on the same boat coming to So Cal, departed on the 19th! I was told end of the month but I’m hoping I get it closer to the date your dealer quoted you!

Here is the disclaimer on the order guide:
The AMG Ceramic Compound Braking system has numerous benefits – namely, it is 40% lighter than a conventional steel braking system, offers significantly longer service life for the brake rotors, and provides exceptional resistance to brake fade under repeated aggressive stops.*
The materials in your AMG Ceramic Compound Braking system were derived from Formula One technology, and therefore will perform differently than conventional brakes.
Especially when cold, this ceramic composite material will resonate during braking and potentially feel less responsive under light brake pressure but with no loss in braking power. You will hear sounds, e.g. squealing, that you might not expect and which may be louder than what you are used to during ordinary everyday braking maneuvers – rest assured that this is a normal operating characteristic for this brake system, and is a by-product of the unique properties of the material. Mercedes-AMG recommends that the driver engage the brakes in an assertive manner in order to mitigate some of this noise during normal operation; Mercedes-AMG also recommends that the brakes be brought up to operating temperature before use in high-performance driving situations in order to improve braking performance.
*Brake weight based on AMG Germany official measurements, Service life based on F1 Safety car longevity and is dependent on individual driving style and conditions and will vary. Brake pads and rotors should be regularly serviced to ensure proper wear. Please reference your Mercedes-AMG Maintenance Booklet or contact your dealer for scheduled intervals

I am planning to take it to the track, which is why I got the PS Cup 2's. I also like the copper colored calipers to match with the interior (even though they aren't yellow ). This is my weekend car replacing my Hellcat, so I most likely will not be just driving it at the speed limit, I have a few tracks close by and want to see how it will do on open days.

Congrats!!! Now the wait to get on a boat!! I've been waiting since feb 11th for mine to get on a boat. All the other amg's and bmw's I have bought I took delivery 4 weeks after production.. Now it's taking the cars like 3-4 weeks from production just to get on a boat. It sucks but it will make the experience that much better when it finally arrives!!

Got the final details for my delivery earlier this week. They arranged delivery at the Center of Excellence in Sindelfingen. It's a special delivery and brand experience available only to S Class, CLS, SL and AMG. Presentation of the vehicle takes place in a private lounge area and is followed by a three course lunch meal, and because I'm picking up on my birthday, they'll hold a small celebration. I get to meet a technician to learn more about the brand and of course the regular factory tour. In addition for AMG owners they also offer a private tour at the AMG factory in Affalterbach to see the one man one engine production etc. That's scheduled for the day after delivery. Looking forward to the whole experience. Two months to go till take off!
Here's what I can expect from the brochure they sent me:
