Interesting. They changed the option codes for the CF packages, but otherwise essentially just explicitly confirm that with B26, the carbon packages still make the expected pieces carbon. If anything I guess this would mean if ours are gloss black, that we could obtain the CF ones later.

He is back on tuesday and i will ask him again as maybe i have mis-heard, as we have been in talks about what is and is not CF.
Work commitments are preventing me from seeing the car physically myself, however i may pop down mid week if i get a chance while the dashcam and tracker are being fitted.

At least we now know amg has aero cf side insert parts... we never had confirmation of that until now from the order guide.. gives hope.. also doesn’t list that as new in the DOG. So there is hope!!!!

My dealer was told by an amg tech that trains employees at dealers on new amg model features that if the side sills come in gloss black I am supposed to get a credit.. obviously if they are cf from the aero pack then I won’t get a credit... I know things are different country to country but definitely use that as ammo when you take delivery if they aren’t cf.

Looking at the 2020 DOG right now, PM me if anyone else wants it. Not that many changes. 64 color LED is now standard. 3-zone climate control is now available on the C300 but it doesn't seem to be offered at all for the AMG models.
Also, looks like the sedan finally gets some magno options (selenite and iridium). Nice. But, Gloss Black (040) is no longer available on the C63/S (just like how the coupes have always been), that is really weird. Thumbs DOWN.

I have a June build date for a 2019. I guess I should just get a 2020. Is it confirmed that the 2020 C63CS will still have the same engine?

they aren’t going to release the 2020 till late this year like end of November - early January.. so even if you order it and it’s built you won’t take delivery of it for 7-8 months.. my dad ordered a 2019 s63 sedan 4 magic last April.. sat at port in Baltimore from early August until end of November.. Mercedes wouldn’t release the 2019 that early so it sat. I ordered my c63s coupe sept 5th.. it’s waiting for a boat as we speak.. it was produced feb 11th.. I’m in line for an 8 month wait from when I ordered it to when it gets delivered at this rate because it’s gonna take 4 weeks once it’s on a ship and departs the port in Europe to get to my dealer in Chicago. The 2020 is the same car as the 2019. There is an alarm system that is new and the 64 color led interior lighting is standard.. that’s about it.
