Went to the dealership today to lighten my bank account and get all the final paperwork done. All ready for my trip to Germany now. Regarding the carbon packages with aero, no credit so far. The sales manager has been calling around and nobody seems to have the 411 on the situation, but it's gonna get worked out one way or the other. If there's gonna be a credit, I'll get some money back, but we also discussed getting the 2020 aero carbon side sills and put them on, which is actually what I would prefer. First step is to see my car in the flesh and confirm what actually is and is not carbon on US spec vehicles and I get to vent to the Germans directly there to hopefully get some straight answers and get it sorted out. Stay tuned, I guess.

Haha, that would be fun, but I have a feeling timing won't work out. I'm heading to Switzerland to see my folks right afterwards and stay there for about two weeks. My plans after that are still kinda in the air, but I will be back in Germany eventually. I'm taking delivery on May 6, when is your delivery?

I have 20@ Vorsteiner VFF-103 from my BMW. I tried to measure the bolt patterns to see if their compatible without actually trying the wheels on. But if they don’t fit then I’ll have to buy something similar and suitable for my new car. Any suggestions?

So I just picked up my coupe today and was wondering if you guys have recommendations for leather protector spray? My interior and black/white and I would like to keep the white leather clean for as long as possible. Thanks!

C63S Sedan USA Delivery Process (Build date to delivery)
Hi Everyone! First time buyer - 2019 C63S W205. Can someone run me through the process an general timeline from build date to delivery?
My build date was 04/01 and I am getting word now that the car will need to get to a VPC before it gets delivered to the dealer. My SA says it will take 4-6 weeks just to get from production facility to VPC? Is this accurate? Seems like a really long time. Given that I live one state away from Alabama (in Georgia) I expected a faster timeline. Any advice on general timeline and the process that the car goes through once you reach the build date would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

If you were building a coupe which is built in Germany. then I would say that timeline is realistic. My car is built, awaiting a boat to be assigned. I will likely take 7 days to ship on the boat, and then another 2 weeks to get it released from the port in Baltimore and arrive to my dealership in Annapolis, MD. Most of this time is getting it released at the port. There is no set time to release cars by the ports.
In your case, if the sedan is being built in Alabama, I do feel that it should be a bit quicker.

my AMG rep said production will complete for me on 5/7...hope all these dates are correct at this point; not sure how much longer after that I'll need to wait for transport.

Thanks @Sullicc4 . How long did it take from your build date until build completion?

Sounds like our 63s are being built side by side
. I just spoke with the AMG sales manager at my dealership and he said that production started yesterday (even though had a 1st decade build slot), will take 3-4 days to get out of the production line, and should be delivered 1-2 weeks after that. Feeling much better about the timeline now! Thanks everyone.
@mrguitar where are you getting yours delivered to?
