STUNNING! this is my EXACT spec. Mine should be arriving any day now.
2023 Urus Performante - 2021 Ferrari Roma - 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB - 2022 GLE 63 S Coupe
Yes - they are mandated in the US by the DOT. Most prefer the clean/euro look without them. To me there really no big deal. It's something you think about once and that's it. To others they mean a lot and some go to great lengths to get rid of them. You have to order European headlights and then code them to your car to take them. It's a very expensive upgrade and requires a lot of research. I did it in my daughters CLA because she did not have LED lights and wanted them. Stock plain ones looked horrible.

Shouldn’t be long now. The Integrity left Baltimore’s port yesterday.. so just waiting for the VPC in Baltimore to get my car on a truck and off to Chicago!! I’m at 7 and a half months exactly since the day I ordered it September 5th. Hopefully the truck driver is more competent than the one who did 4K in damage to the under carriage on my fathers S63 sedan.
Looks to me like your car has been built and awaiting a ship to transport if I had to guess.
SA just said car was produced in FEB. but has been in Frozen status since then because of a required software update... Some other C63 orders may be impacted.
Looking to buy a '19 C63S sedan off the lot. Am I out if my mind thinking I can score a 14% off MSRP discount? Would be a cash deal if that helps....
At this stage I highly doubt it. Typical discounts seem to be closer to half of that, unless you know somebody. Maybe in conjunction with a lowball trade offer, or in 5 or so months when the 2020 roll in and you pick up a leftover 19. Cash deal won't help, because you are not giving them an opportunity to make additional profit on finance charges.
Only 7% off on a car that is at the end of its life cycle. Interesting. Could certainly do a high rate finance deal and immediately payoff if that sweetens my deal.

What do you mean end of lifecycle? The 2019 is the midcycle refresh with lots of upgrades and improvements in the tech and driving dynamics departments. It's a pretty hot ticket at the moment.

What is different about an 18 vs a 19? The tranny, grille and optional LCD cluster? That's what I saw but curious as to what all the other upgrades are.

Those and completely reworked AMG Dynamics system with new modes and chassis control settings. The S got the 9-stage traction control system from the GT R. Reworked and retuned suspension. Lower spring rates make the car more comfortable in comfort mode and retuned software makes it more dynamic in Sport+. Upgraded Infotainment system with wide screen display, new online platform, updated software, new phone app, all-new steering wheel with with AMG Drive Unit putting all the chassis and drive mode controls on the steering wheel. The suspension, traction control etc. improvements are all geared towards improving the ability to put down the power. Those who have upgraded from an 18 or older to the 19 will tell you that it drives very differently. I think you need to do some homework.

Here's the What's new page from the order guide with some more stuff.
Interesting. I'll get a chance to drive both a used 18 with 4k on it and a new 19 tomorrow and make the decision for myself if the difference is worth ~20k.
