Are the folding mirrors standard or was that an option I needed to check? My sedan is due in two weeks but I was on ther German website and saw that as an option?? I honestly thought that was standard for an AMG.

In Europe they charge for everything. I really think folding mirrors are standard for the US on this mode trim.
I noticed that. The rear spoiler should be carbon, though. It adds the CF spoiler automatically as an option with Aero and the CF combo, but it's hard see it in the render. The rear diffuser seems to not be carbon with the Aero and CF packages, which is kinda disappointing. I'm not sure, though, if the configurator is correct. The Aero package was missing when I configured mine on their site a few weeks ago, so they only recently added it, but yes, I need to find out as well which parts are still CF if you get Aero, CF I and CF II. I think it's a fair expectation that those pieces are carbon, so I'm hoping it's just a bug in the configurator.
The options are different in Europe. My dealer confirmed that the rear wing and side sills are not CF when you get the Aero package and the CF packages. If you watch the YouTube video reviews, you’ll see they have the carbon fiber aero wing on the coupes. Apparently, they get better options in Europe. You’ll have to choose between aero and full CF parts. Personally, I chose the aero package as I thought it looked better overall and I kind of like the black accents with the selenite grey color.
Quick q - Are the exhaust tips the same size as the previous gen? In the videos, press pictures, and articles in the past few months it appeared to have been larger than the '15-'18's. Maybe it is just the angle of your picture that makes it appear similar to the previous generation?

Yes, the 2019 exhaust tips are more squarish and larger. The same tips seem to be carrying through all the new 63 models. The new GT63S has them as well

Yeah, those options only make sense in Europe where you can get all of the parts in CF. Also, the video you've posted looks like a Euro model. Best to confirm with your SA whether the diffuser is CF, too.
Put 50mi on it and beyond thrilled a a little intimidated. This thing is just gorgeous. I’ll try to take more pics on Wednesday and post.

I think a lot of folks are not sure if they'll be too uncomfortable. Most people don't get them. I was also a bit hesitant at first, even though I like a snugly sport seat. When I first sat in them at an Autoshow, I wasn't aware that the side bolsters are adjustable, but eventually I found a car with them to test drive and 5 minutes into the drive I didn't even remember that I had concerns about the seats. I easily found the perfect seating position and for normal driving I kept the side bolsters all the way outward. They are excellent in my opinion and I'm not the skinniest guy. I'm 5'11" and often on the wrong side of 200lbs . The guy from Remove Before Race also keeps telling people that they are excellent and very comfortable even on long drives, and he used to have back problems in the past. I did drive one with the standard seats and they are fine, but nothing special. I would say find a car with the performance seat that you can test drive, but be aware they are not exactly the same seats in all models. I tried them first in a GT S and they are different. The seat cushion for example doesn't extend in the GT S. The ones in the C63 S felt much better and the seat cushion extension is something I use all the time. It makes a huge difference to me. I don't like seats that don't extend.

Thanks. I'm trying to get confirmation from the dealer on the CF I & II & Areo combination. Frankly, it would be hard to believe that they get away with charging the full amount and only make the A-Wing and mirrors in carbon fiber if you add the Areo package. I have a copy of the order guide and it says nothing about any of the pieces not being carbon fiber if you add the Areo package and the carbon fiber rear spoiler is even listed on my build printout. The good news is they fixed my build and the Digital Instrument Cluster is on it now, so I'm back to awaiting confirmation of the delivery date in Germany. Stopping by the dealership tomorrow to drop off a copy of my passport and insurance card, so I'll have a chat with the GM then.

Would a C63S coupe owner who has taken delivery (US-spec) please share the EPA city, highway, and combined fuel economy numbers from the window sticker?
Just got off the phone with the sales manager regarding the Areo & CF I & CF II package situation. He talked to the head of AMG sales or something like that and they are confirming that with the Areo package, neither the spoiler, side sill insert nor the rear apron insert will be carbon fiber if you add the CF packages. Quite messed up, since the order guide allows the combination. They are saying that things are not quite updated in the order guide. There must have been some late changes related to this. So I'm dropping the CF packages for now. He was saying that they are expecting a memo to clarify this and perhaps there'll be an option to add the CF A-Wing and mirrors. I would still like those. Looks like as it stands I'm gonna save $4700 .
sorry guys. I should have explained in more detail.
In the UK the C63 comes as standard with artico leather with contrast stitching.
The seats however are NAPPA leather as standard.
This means you get to different textures Nappa being smooth.
You can then pay an extra £720 to upgrade the standard dashboard and belt lines artico leather to
artico leather with NAPPA LEATHER LOOK.
this coordinates the look and feel of the leather all round.
Just a quick update on this for fellow USA members. As I'm working on finalizing my build, I just noticed that the above is how the dash comes standard in the USA. MB-Tex Dashboard in Nappa Look (U34) is listed under the standard options on my build printout. Looks like in the UK one has to pay extra for it. The USA generally includes quite a few things in the base price, which are optional in other markets.

When I just called Mbusa they told me the only person who my sales manager needs to contact is the Distribution centers manager. They are the only ones that can confirm it and something like this with conflicting options can change month to month.
At the end of the day until a U.S. spec is delivered with all 3 options and we can see the results we are screwed imo.

Yeah, the distribution center manager is who my sales manager talked to. Those are basically the same pictures I went with. You are right, I think until we see a US spec with all three options nobody knows for sure. I also can't help the feeling that the distribution managers don't really know for sure, either. These pictures are obviously EU spec cars, so that doesn't mean this is what US spec cars will be like. I'm still debating if I should take the risk and just add the packages back and then go after MB if the car doesn't come with all the advertised pieces in carbon fiber. I do have some time to make changes to my order, so hopefully there's some better information coming.
