I have a C63 on order and thought it came with the same wheels as the 2018, I have to call my SA tomorrow to change my order.

Congrats Man! She looks stunning! I almost got mine from MB of SF as well. Do you mind if I ask what deal did you get? Mine should arrive within a month or so as well and I should still be able to bargain my deal.

I saw an old S550 with an AMG badge. Saw a couple of regular "Letter-3digit" Benzes with AMG badges. Always a good laugh. I couldn't do it, I feel like I would be embarrassed, lol. I'm considering even debadging mine...

Dealer Options
Hi All,
Is it worth it to take any or all of the MB First Class Protection Plan?
1.Tire & Rim
2. Paintless Dent Repair
3. Lost Keys
4. Interior & Exterior
Getting the entire package will cost less than getting 1 and 4 individually.
As for Diamond Paint Coating, should that be done through the dealer as well or externally?
Thanks

mine finished production first week in December but still no ETA on delivery. Dealer did provide me with a loaner and 1st months note for the inconvenience. Hopefully I get mine around the same time as you and other who are expecting delivery soon.

I understand that dealers set their own prices when it comes to prepaid maintenance. I feel that my dealer hosed me but they claim I'm saving money by prepaying. I paid $3,691 plus sales tax for 3 years of scheduled maintenance which they claim would cost $5,057.54 (including tax). Their breakdown is as follows:
2,000 mile service: $570.12
10K or 1 year service: $1,657.26
20K or 2nd year: $1,437.40
30K or 3rd year: $1,936.26
Those numbers don't add up to $5,057.54 so I don't know how they calculated the total it could cost a la carte, pay-as-you-go but their argument is that I'm saving money by prepaying. I think they've just inflated the numbers to justify the price they gouged me or else they're a very expensive stealership.
How do these numbers look to the rest of you? Cascade, how much did they charge you for your prepaid 3-years of service?

So for $1.7K, they're saying that they'll change your oil and filter, check your fluids and tire inflation, check your brakes, and reset the counter... That is effing absurd.
The 10K service is maintenance A, which includes the following;
- Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
- Oil filter replacement
- All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on Mercedes-Benz maintenance schedule intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.
- Tire inflation check and correction
- Brake component inspection
- Reset maintenance counter

- Brake Fluid Exchange

Labor cost is different at every dealer.. if you get your car serviced in Chicago it is going to cost more than say one 20-25 miles outside the city.. they can have $30 - $50 an hour difference in labor cost.

I was able to negotiate the PPM package cost into the offer plus 4.5% discount off final sale price (including options).

The Mercedes dealership near me is outrageously expensive, apparently. But the choice is to drive an hour or more to the next nearest dealership to get service and that's out of the question, so I just have to accept it, I suppose. I plan on keeping this car for a long time and have 4 years of factory warranty so I don't want to trust service to anyone other than Mercedes. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes that mine is a Cabriolet and not a Coupe or sedan, nor that it is an S model (C63S) and not a non-S.
If you live in Broward County, Florida, don't service your car at M-B of Ft. Lauderdale (An AutoNation company). The only problem is that I think most of the M-B dealerships in the Ft. Lauderdale area are owned by AutoNation so one would have to travel to Miami to get serviced by a dealership not owned by them.
