Weistec Coilovers Suspension for 2017 C63s Coupe

Hello world,

I’ve been feeling the ride quality of my 2017 C63S Coupe is too firm and uncomfy. I’m wondering if anyone here has installed Weistec that could share the experience? Does it improve the ride a lot? Does the OEM adaptive suspension system still work when changing between comfort, sport, sport +, individual, and race mode? Any input will be appreciated! Thanks in advance guys!

Awesome! Are you expecting to improve the ride quality or what is your goal?

My mainly goal here is to improve the ride quality and make it less stiff because I found my c63s coupe way too firm. Anyone has any idea how can I do that?

I’m going for the look about 15mm lower.

Picked the car up today after lowered. The ride is much smoother in all settings (C,S,S+ ...etc). My car only dropped about 12mm. I like the new look now. It look lower but not slammed.

Looks perfect !! IMHO a small drop is all youi need for a 205 C63.

I'm also researching the best option for lowering one of these with either springs or a HAS type kit, few questions about the Weistec HAS - is that small drop you have there the minimum drop of this kit ? ie. does it start from same as stock OEM height and go dowm from there or is 12mm you have the starting drop height ?

I ask this because at least 2 other HAS kit brands start at or over 20mm drop as minimum so you can't maintain as close to OEM is that above.

TIA

I told the shop to drop about 15mm from stock height and must have all even fender gap. They did exactly what I want. There’s a used KW HAS kit for around $550.

Thanks for the info - so it would seem that this kit starts to lower from around stock OEM height that's great.

Not really keen on the KW HAS just from too many negative reviews of it re. noise issues, also that is one of the lowering options which starts with a low drop as minimum, so if you only want a slight drop as you've done it won't do.

Since you only want a little drop, Eibach spring might be best and save yourself at least $1k.

That is currently my top choice for lowering this platform as stated in another thread

However I'm still looking into a HAS type kit because I'm acquiring several different sets of aftermarket wheels and they'll be of different sizes (diameter) for different purposes, so having that flexibility of height adjustment is advantageous in my case.

It seems like it'll be a choice of either the Weistec - which has also been recommended to me by a local tuning shop who's fitted several to 205 C63's without issues or the Bilstein HAS kit which I still need more info on.
