I saw these photos of an AMG GT63S with these amazing looking mirror/puddle lights of the AMG logo. Is this real or a photoshop? I can't find any info online - but would love some on the C63 if anyone has seen them before.
Got on the German configurator site and found the option. It confirms the light is projected from the side sills. I don't see this being easy to retrofit on the C63.

i know right.. anythings doable if youre willing to spend the $$$. I went to an upholstery place here to ask how much it would cost to turn my interior to all red with quilted stitched.. a cool $6k CAD so I passed as Id rather finish adding parts to the exterior.
Any word on this install? I just bought them as well. I have 360 camera also so curious any tips and install instructions you may have.
I'm in canada so had to ship to a relative than he will ship up to me so I wont have them for a while to do a review and reference for everyone.
Anybody installed these? Once I take the mirror glass off it seems I need to take the entire inner frame off too? Also, any idea where to disconnect the heater wires? On the glass side or is there another common connector deep down? Much more work than I though to replace those puddle lights.
Just installed mine. Had a few issues. Left mirror assembly was different then right mirror assembly (I don’t have the 360 camera but seems my car was prepared for it). Had to use the demel tool to cut some plastics to make it fit on right side. But the main problem is that they don’t stay on. They blink. What am I missing? Did someone else install them? Does it need a load resistor?
Update: the seller is very responsive and says my car needs a programming change via Xentry to circumvent the current limiter. Apparently there are two versions: low power and high power versions and high power versions cause the flicker when current limit is reached. Will either need to find someone with a Xentry, switch to low power, or experiment with load resistor. They go on and off every second or so, blinking shortly

Not sure why you think that? My left looks just like the picture you attached...and the right is how it can only be when turned 180 degree. Am I missing something?

No very sorry, I didn't notice the cars are parked opposite ways. I'll try my install today if it gets delivered with enough time. I'll let you know if mine blinks too.

Let us know how it goes....they offered that I either change the current limit though XENTRY or swap with the low power version...but really like how bright it is when its on (for moment at least ;-))

Took me 2 and a half hours but finally got it installed. 4 star screws each mirror, no modification, not blinking. I removed back painted housing first. removed mirror from behind (two plastic clips hold it to the motor adjustment). Driver side easier, more room. passenger side didn't want to cut out the post blocking it so I gently pushed plastic mirror frame down making enough room to remove oem and replace with new one. I have 360 camera so cameras need to be removed (2 of the 4 star screws each side). unplugged old and plugged in new and they work. I assume that 360 camera puts power on high output because I noticed the lights come on when 360 camera is activated at night to help provide light to see. Basically I took off back plate and removed what I needed to get access to mirror light housing which needed to be switched out.

good to hear you got it done. Did you buy from the same link in this thread? I did and have the blinking issue. They tell me our cars are all a little different, some have the current limiter some don’t...

I think It's the same if you used the ebay link I posted on this thread. I think the 360 camera models run on high output because they use the lights at night for the 360 camera.
