Also, the whole point of a piggyback is that it intercepts the sensor signals to trick the stock ECU into thinking it's running normal boost. As far as the ECU knows, everything is still within stock parameters. However, once you flash the ECU then you are literally changing the ECU parameters and it will be clear as day that you had a tune.

Exactly. Period. End it right there... If, IF...they see something there, if, IF.. the tech is sharp as well as the shop foreman, they have the option at that point to say, well, the box probably didn't have anyhting to do with it and fix the issue. Or, on the other hand, based on personalities, they can burn your butt.
Bottom line, they can tell.
TUNE IT, then do a rolling burnout through 4 gears and tell me if you had fun
I will be chipping my C63s soon and will probably going with EuroCharged and use the handheld tuner - so i can flash/reflash - but it seems to be if the dealer can't see it then its ok to work on - ha!
