Clicking Noise Front Wheel when turning the wheel
The dealership says that it is the factory torque strut that connects to wheel. It is "slipping in/out".
They determined that the cause is the changed suspension geometry from lowering the car.
BTW I am lowered to 13.5 inches from the hub. I have KW HAS and the Carbahn Autoworks camber adjustable control arm as well. I figured it would be one of those parts producing the noise but it is not.
Has anyone else experienced this issue after lowering the car?
It's hard to imagine that the suspension geometry would change such that it would cause a noise to occur on only one wheel instead of both front wheels. Part of me thinks that the car would have the issue even on the stock setup and the dealership is defaulting to the easy conclusion that since I lowered the car, any issues with the suspension must be caused by it. I have lowered many cars prior without this sort of issue but maybe the W205 C63 is just that temperamental(?)
I am considering just going back to stock.
Thanks for the input all

Coming from the passenger side (UK car) mostly when the wheels are almost or on full lock, turned to the right, and is worse in reverse.
The tyres are old and are being replaced on Monday, but the video doesn’t do the noise or the feeling through the car justice. It’s a horrible sound and the wheel feels like it’s skipping across the ground. I’ve heard people describe “popping” but that seems like an understatement.
Appreciate any comments!

Does anyone have the part number to the factory torque strut?
Having the same issues but a Google search for this part doesn't show anything.
Kind regards.
in my case it was the lower control arm.
Not sure of the part number but hope this points you in the right direction.

With my previous cars, Infiniti, they were very mod-friendly. But I also knew the line between dealership responsibility and my own. The same goes for my current Mercedes dealership. And I only have them install or replace a direct bolt on part.
So because I make it easy for them they help me out with doing the work. When an aftermarket part breaks , I just buy the replacement and have them install it. If it’s an actual warranty repair, then we both know where that line is.
But if customers don’t understand that line, most dealerships will give pushback. And of course there are some very conservative dealerships still out there.

Since there is no safety issues with this noise and them saying they can't guarantee the sound won't come back even with new struts I decided to leave it for now.
Will get my shop that did my mods to remount my wheels when I have time to see if it really is the torque struts or just needed the wheels to be remounted.
had the noise on several of my cars. Lowered am not.
all fixed the same way
you mean this noise right here ^^. Took it to the first dealer in Delray Beach, kept my car over a month, never call me back or answer any of my calls. Came to the dealer and they told me it's the steering column. Didn't charge me anything. Find out later that didn't didn't even touch anything on the car. Took it to the second one and this one said it's my aftermarket coil over. This is accompany by a right pull so that could be it
