I have a 2018 C63S, grey with the black night package. I have blacked the badges with Plasti~dip and think it looks great. I want to black the chrome strip on the trunk lid, but cannot find any instruction on how to remove it. There are videos online for the W204, but I can’t find anything for the 205. Any help out there?

They are a 1 time use item by most bodyshop ,its taped on and sometimes when you pull them off they deform and the aftermarket tape is thicker than the factory so it will sit out slightly further if you retape it

Unfortunately, I don’t know the first thing about how to do a wrap. Plus I want it to match in texture and color with the badges.
i have the Night Package too: replaced the badges, added spoiler and painted gloss black and wraped the trunk chrome strip - nobody yet recognized any difference in texture and color. The painter also said paint does not stock well on chrome and is easy to flake or chip.

Where’d you find the black S badge? I could never find them on eBay when I did mine.
I wrapped mine in gloss black. Matches my black paint exactly. Never wrapped before and while I eventually gave up on the chrome around the windows, the rear chrome strip was super easy and has held up great for several months and car washes so far.

I’ll see how it holds up
ideally it might look better with more gloss, as the night package trim and my wheels are slightly shinier
