Just picked up the car after getting the DP’s installed. Three words OMG! Pops, crackles on downshifts cracks on up shifts. It’s all there, loud and pronounced. Close the valves and put it comfort mode and it’s close to stock.
Remember that no tune is involved.

Sounds great, which catted DP's did you choose and no CEL w/o tune I guess?
Also wondering if you notice any smell because my 200 cells have smell checked for leaks but none, but not sure if its because of the aftermarket exhaust.

All HFC smell but it’s not terrible. Nothing like running catless.

yeah me too. wasn’t expecting much at all. after seeing the stock cats, there’s a lot of restriction removed. Plus this is a very low reading Mustang dyno.
Here’s a 2018 C63s vert on the same dyno with catless DP. 436 Whp and 483 torque. 1 more hp and 16 less torque vs my 2020. There goes the theory about FL making less power. 😂

Even though it is the same dyno, it is hard to compare results done on different days. Variations in weather can affect the output (i.e. a hot day vs. a cold day, the colder day will have more power). Either way, you picking up 20 hp and torque to the wheels from installing some catted downpipes and no tune is a great result.
I need to check out a C63 with catless downpipes so I can see how bad the odor is. I don't want to smell like exhaust when I get out of my car if I have been sitting in traffic (been there and done that in the past).
