The whole point of getting catted downpipes is not to get a secondary O2 sensor code.
So you all are running catted downpipes and still chasing how to get ride of the CEL? Use quality high flows cats and you will not get a CEL.

I have HJS 200 cell downpipes from Red Star and still got a CEL on my 2020 C63s. Code was for cat inefficiency.

The mini cat spacers are installed and so far I have driven it twice and no CEL. If it doesn't come back in the next 2-3 days I'd say problem solved. Before spacers it came back on almost right away after clearing the CEL.

yes we are catted and I was not hoping to get a cel either but what’s done is done, have you had any experience with these problems?

Yeah I really think the 2020 models are even more strict/sensitive. The cats are worth it still cause there is NO smell at all with mine and it should pass emissions still.

Did Modal send you a different spacer?
I have a setof catted DP from Modal and debating on putting on spacers before dealing with CEL.

Installed catted DPs and hell, I am so disappointed with the sound. It is nowhere near my rs6 and pre-facelift C/E63.
Utterly disappointed. Now I have to pay 6000$ to see if full exhaust would fix it. If that is not going to help - this is the first and the last Merc I ever owned.

Mine pops at rev. How many miles on your car? I guess it’s all about perspective. I knew it wouldn’t be as loud as my Shelby GT350 with resonators removed. You gotta really dig into the throttle and Ecu starts learning and pops and cracks gets louder and louder. Mine definitely became more lively after 5k plus miles.

The mini cat spacers did the job, I've driven the car over 300 miles over 4-5 separate drive cycles and no CEL. Before the spacers, the CEL came back on after about 50 miles after clearing the CEL.
This is what I ordered, they are smaller spacers than usual but if you have catted downpipes this should be more than enough: http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html
The spacers fit well, the installer said the driver side cat was more difficult cause there was less room because of hosing/wires but they got it to fit on both sides. I'd imagine bigger normal size spacers would've been even more difficult. Order x2 of them obviously, one for each post cat sensor.
