CF front lip- OEM Aero package style

Found this on Ali Express. Great deal considering the flimsy cheap feeling OEM plastic center piece alone costs more.

I agree

But oem is made of quite flexible material, just make sure this carbon spoiler won’t break easier...

I know few GTR owners that ordered CF products from China and it was pretty good. At roughly $350 it’s worth it to find out. I may order it, not sure yet.

Anyone ask the question as to how much an OEM replacement lip costs for comparison? A few years ago, I ordered a CF cover for the lower gloss black front lip on my old '13 C63 AMG coupe. Remember the C63 w/AMG Dev Pkg had a CF rear spoiler. I wanted a piece of CF up front to balance out the overall look. Perfect fit. Here recently, from someone completely different, I ordered a gloss black front grill for the same car. It's now my son's. It was a gift from me. Perfect fit. Both from China. Not everything from China is bad. Most of it is, IMO, pretty good. But, you pick your battles and hope you win most of them. I would venture to say you stand a good chance of getting a good product. On the downside, I agree with the comment: it's CF. I drive the Macan. The wife drives the C. Any day I can expect to here the front got busted up. If the price for an OEM replacement piece is stupidly priced, I will be revisiting this thread again.

Front lip is something I don't mind on getting replica parts for. The thing will eventually brake in the long run anyways so it doesn't matter to get a cheaper alternative. Now if they only made a replica PSM front lip for the coupes, we will be golden.

I'd probably also be mostly concerned about CF being less flexible and therefore easier to crack. Yes, the OE piece seems flimsy at first, but the flex is intentional. Even though some, including myself, have at least cracked it once, it does flex quite a bit before it cracks. I ended up getting mine replaced free of charge as compensation for the troubles I had with the side sills coming off. I'm planning on not to crack it again . My first incident was in a parking structure in Germany. It sounded like I cracked it when I pulled too far forward into a tight parking space, but it simply skipped of the curb in front and there was no visible damage. If the CF replica cracks more easily, the lower initial price may end up costing your more in replacement costs. Also, the lack of flex may end up damaging the lower part of the bumper if it gets pushed up. The weaker part ultimately will give out and the bumper is much harder and costlier to replace.

I put sliplo on my PSM Dynamics...but still have no scratch on even the sliplo. Nice thing on the PSM is that it goes over the small OEM lip and not under, i.e. does not lower the car but makes it stick out further to front.

My car barely passes those parking bumps when parking normal and not in reverse. I haven't got the PSM front lip yet because I was scared it will just brake off because of my driving habits. What you just said about it not lowering the car is a godsend.

I am on KW HAS and still clear speed bumps without scraping...but not those parking curb stops!
