Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Julian and for the past 3 months I have been watching these forums on a daily base.
I've also been watching the C63S convertible market for a long time (for my standards..) before I finally found my dream car.
I wanted as many options as possible, not a black, white or blue color (wife is picky) and performance seats.
One day I opened mobile.de (German carmarket website) and found a car that met all my requirements. Within 90 minutes of them posting the ad, I bought the car.
It is a selenite grey 2018, facelift, C63 S convertible with every option there is apart from the ceramic brakes.
When I tried to import it into my country, some problems arised as there was no required document for the car. Those were only introduced in August 2018 and my car is from June.
I looked a bit further upon my car. I already found it strange that the car had only drive 3.700km (2300 miles) eventhough the car is 26 months old.
It turns out my car was the actual AMG press car that the journalists have driven in when it came out. It is the very very first one made. I know this from the German licenseplate it has. Mine ends in "5112" and if you go to youtube you'll find several reviews with the same car ending in 5110 and 5111.

I bought the car with a fresh 2 year warranty from Mercedes Benz itself.
Can't wait to drive it! Shouldn't be longer than a week now till I get my Dutch licenseplate and am actually able to drive it.
Love this forum. Am especially interested in adding PPF that makes the car matte. But the cost is very high unfortunately... Something to consider one day...

The red grows on you. I didn't initially like it but when I saw it in person, it isn't so bad. Some even think it makes it look cool. I wouldn't have had the guts if I had ordered the car from new.
But honestly, I'm trying to never see that red anyway. Convertible all day please!

Very nice! I have a 2017 same color but with black top and no sport seats. Mine is a regular C63 but this car is ridiculously fast for a convertible. I've had this car for almost a year now and I just love it.
