Polor White - Pros and Cons [Any Owners]
I understand there are already threads, however given new road conditions and climate change i would take a stab at breathing new life into a "question"
I prefer the enamel paints (i.e., those without a clear top-coat) because they are (likely more) durable and it's very easy to fix rock chips. I also apply ceramic coating to my cars (DIY).
Admittedly, this is somewhat of a "personal taste" item and people will differ. Being an ol' Fart, the paint I abhor is the magno/flat paint. When I was a teenager and all us kids were fixing and modding our cars -- usually more on the "ol' beater" side -- it was common to spray flat primer and leave it on the car for an extended period because we couldn't afford to get a proper paint job. To this day, when I see high-end cars with mago/flat paint finishes, I think "that's a real nice vehicle ... it's so sad that person couldn't afford a proper paint job for it." $;-))
