2021 Mercedes C63s AMG Coupe
After 4 years of lurking, I finally got one!

Got my forever car! This car was a big deal for me in the sense that I wanted one for a very very long time. I got the C43 initially due to some constraints I had at the time, but this is the car I ALWAYS wanted. With the 4 Cylinder coming up, it was now or never. I was going to order one, but the deal on this one was too good to pass. It has 900 miles on it and is super close to my ideal build. I would have just changed the color to magno grey I think. But the way these cars are being snatched up at the moment, I can't complain.

The only thing that is bothering me is that I could not break it in. Apparently it was driven by some VP in MB corporate. So I can just hope he can took it easy. But I have my doubts as I know very few people who will take it easy with a car like this. Would do an oil change straight away just to be on the safer side of things. I have read the differential oil does not need to changed anymore until 50000 km? Should I get it done anyway?

Also need to get a winter setup as well, so if you guys can recommend a nice winter tire setup, that would be amazing!

Congrats on the car! You’re going to definitely enjoy it more than the C43. Is it just me but is the hood latch open? The gap between the front hood and bumper looks more wide than it should be.
The other cars next your car also has a wider gap so I’m thinking the dealership keeps the hood latch open.
Anyways enjoy the new car in good health.

Looks like a wire is going to the hood, so yeah, hood must be open

Congrats and finally welcome to the club. Nice looking car, and AMG Performance Seats, the only way to go. What year is it? 2019 or 2020? Some of the initial 2019s still required the differential oil change. If the break-in sticker is still on the windshield, those which require the differential oil change have an additional sticker below the engine break-in instructions to advise of the required diff oil change. Mine was a Feb '19 build and it didn't have the diff sticker anymore and AMG Germany confirmed based on my VIN that it is no longer required, but I ended up getting it done anyway, albeit a little later than 2000 miles. Had to find a dealership in Germany that could do it while I was spending a few days in one place.

As for the winter setup, you will find that very difficult with the coupe. I was poking around just for fun last year to see what one would do with a coupe in the winter and Tire Rack had one winter tire for the car. The Pirelli Sottozero I believe, but currently there is no winter tire option on Tire Rack for this car. I've heard that dealerships have a supply of the Pirelli, but that seems to be the only option. The brakes are essentially too big to go smaller than 19" in the front and the 20" fat wheels don't lend themselves for winter tires. One option if you can live with all-season, the Pilot Sport AS4 is available in the required sizes.

Thanks a lot for the reply. It is a 2020. Unfortunately, I think the build sticker may have been peeled off as it was driven before. I was going to just check the manual have the dealership do it if the manual calls for it. The breaking in think is bothering me a little bit though.

His fronts will be fine, then get a 19" 9.5J saloon (Sedan) rear set for loads of tyre choice and run 265 or 275. The offset can be brought out with spacers no problem, but frees up a lot more choice for winters. That's pretty why I've kept mine and plan to mount up a winter set.

Congrats! You’ve finally made a switch! I’m running Pirelli Winter SottoZero Series 3 in the winter, so far so good.

Thanks man! What size are you running in the winter? And do you have the specs for the winter rims?

For now I'm just swapping tires so I'm running OEM size in the winter.

congrats munis! Please let me know how it handles compared to the c43 (snow, dry, rain)! I have been contemplating a c63 for a long time but the winters/rainy cold here in Michigan have scared me off. With the money i have put in my c43 to "make it" as close to c63, i could easily convert over. I am just worried about traction a majority of the year in the less than ideal conditions we always have in MI. Your Toronto weather should be very similar.

Congrats on the ride! Its sweet!

When I called the MB Dealership last year regarding a winter Tire/Rim package for 2019 C63s. They had only 1 recommended choice for winter rims and it was the 19 " AMG twin 5-spoke. It can be viewed on mbusa.con Build. I was not crazy about the look of these 19" rim and just put Pirelli Sottozero 3 on my staggered 19/20 that were purchased from MB Dealerdhip. I did the same thing this year (last week).
These Pirelli Sottozero 3 ride feels very safe and sturdy. But I see Tire Rack on line shows no availability. Dealership may be the way to go before they sell out.

Thanks man! I am going with the OEM 19" F and 20" R staggered setup for this winter. Next summer, I will grab a decent aftermarket rim. I will let you know how it goes!
