C63s Front Spoiler Damage

I broke off a small piece of my carbon fiber front spoiler on my 2020 C63s. Can anyone recommend a glue which would work to re-attach the piece that broke off.

This is a Mercedes -

Using glue will not look good -

Just purchase a new one -

Thank-You

Sorry to see that - it’s an annoying problem as the lip catches on speed bPA and is lower than some curbs so easily caught. The same happened to me. Annoyingly I had to purchase a new one which comes in 3 parts... originally mercedes ordered the wrong bits for the facelift model and it also took 6 weeks and £500. Good luck with it.

No glue solution, trust me it will break again very easily

I am afraid you need to replace it

Agree, no glue...but I like how you call it a "small piece" ...and drive more careful when you park next time

That's the aero package front splitter, right? That's not carbon fiber. It's just gloss black plastic and yes, it's a common casualty. I messed up mine during a failed drift. The whole thing is easy to replace. Just screws on. Don't bother trying to fix it, just get it replaced. It's designed to be easily replaced. Because of my ongoing saga with the side sills, my dealership, well actually the body shop replaced it on their dime as compensation. I also had PPF on mine, and because the XPEL installer had to correct another part already they re-wrapped it for free as well. Got lucky.

Doesn't exist. The AMG Aero package is only available for the coupe. This front splitter is part of the Aero package.

Gotcha, thanks Superswiss.

Not sure what was Mercedes thinking not making one for sedans.

The most annoying thing in car ownership are those mishaps that are not enough to go to a Pannel beater(Repair Shop in Aussie language) and too big to ignore. Oooohhhh how it annoys me!!😳

They don't make optional Aero kits for any of the sedans as far as I know. Only 2-door and 4-door coupes. The coupes are intended to be the more sporty, flashier variant. They are lower, wider and have more aggressive aero. The sedans are more meant to be family/executive Autobahn rockets that don't draw too much attention if you show up at a client meeting with them. It's a very German thing, because of the company car culture over there.

Mercedes Benz of Austin has the front splitter part in stock and is replacing it next week. Price is $457, only have to replace the middle part. Thanks for your reply...

Leads right into my query I posted about an aftermarket sensor for the front bumper. The surround view system hopefully will help

2021 C63s Sedan
My 2021 C63s Sedan is about to be here soon and as I am going back through this paperwork for the pricing & OTD price I was considering opting out for the dealerships additional charges.....
1. $499 3yr "dent protection". &&&
2. $499 3yr "appearance protection"
3. $299 tinting (definitely opting out of this)

I am wanting to opt out of these services because they are trying to roll them into the cost of the vehicle (before the tax) & some of this is covered under the auto insurance that ill have to get for the car either way but at the same time seeing/hearing about these problems some people are experiencing with these trim pieces and just damage by road issues it is kinda making sense to get these additional services they are offering. I would just prefer to pay for these.

Hi Puglisi1957, I've just done the same with my 2019 C63S AMG. The spoiler part looks to be identical to yours. Did you determine the part number? I see the front spoiler comes in three parts and only the central part needs to be replaced (I've already removed it), so hoping I can just replace the centre part only.

No doubt Merc will charge a small fortune for this small piece of moulded plastic, but I have no choice and it serves me right for getting too close to a high kerb! Grrrrr!!!!

What did you do in the end? Replace it or glue it? I though about gluing mine temporarily until I get a replacement, but may just leave it off the car.

Hope you get this message and have the time to respond as your experience would be greatly appreciated.

I've just called my local Merc Dealers (Harrogate in the UK) and they quoted me £212.40 for the centre front lip part and availability is a couple of days. I asked for the part number (to help others on this forum) but they told me they don't give out part numbers!!!! That is disappointing and different to the Jaguar dealers, who not only used to supply me with part numbers, but would also attempt to match prices I got elsewhere. I guess Merc want to ensure they are the only ones that supply the parts!

For anyone who wants to order this "middle spoiler part" for the C63S, the part number is A 205 885 74 01 64:
