H&R or Eibach springs
I notice the H&R are an equal drop all around and the Eibach is a little lower in the front than in the rear.
Looking for personal experience on either and opinions.
Thanks
the height isn’t the end of world for me. Really wanting to get my tune and DPs done sooner. Just seeing the price of springs and so can scoop them now. If adjustable options are better in people’s opinions, I’ll just wait and go that route.
As far as height goes, the rear sit perfect. Fronts are tidy bit higher (just a hair higher than I’d like) but once I added wheel spacers, that closed the gap. It never scrapes or rubs.

I think the eibachs have a noticeable drop front and rear but not overly low. Keep in mind springs will get lower once they are run in aswell.
You can check out my thread I posted to get an idea of how low eibachs are.

Perhaps those running Eibach report a slightly softer ride compared to H&R... Maybe?
H&R springs may lower the car more than stated (Front/Rear = 20/20mm)... Maybe?
Both apparently offer superior ride quality and handling compared to stock springs though.
Another thing to note is in my "research" I've noticed the Eibach Pro-Kit is stated to lower the C63s Coupe significantly more than it does for the C63s Sedan.
As per the Eibach website:
- C63s Coupe Pro-Kit = Front/Rear = 30/25mm
- C63s Sedan Pro-Kit = Front/Rear = 20/10mm
So, with respect to the Eibach Pro-kit, the lowering experience reported by sedan drivers may not necessarily be applicable to Coupe drivers.
Big thanks to all contributors on this site. I've gleaned A LOT of information for lowering my car. I still can't decide which kit I'd prefer but am leaning towards Eibach.
AND I'm still trying to figure out how some people end up with drastic inner tread wear issues (moreso than with OEM camber) while others don't.... 🤔
