Trade in the CLS63s would be valued at $33k and C63 at $9k for a total of $42k, private party you might get you a couple grand more $44k.

A 2016 C63s w 20k miles should go for about $52k

IMHO, there is about a $10k difference.

I traded my 2016 C63S in for 48.500
But I had very low miles .
Under 10.000 miles.
So definitely you got to come up on the cash for that C63S.

You will have to pay more.because the C63S your looking at is worth more then the 2 vehicles your trading or selling.

They actually only want $1000 ontop. It’s pretty much a straight trade

A Carfax report is a real negative on the car and the dealer knows that. I assume it is not a Mercedes dealership or a CPO because of the accident. You are somewhat in the drivers seat on a car with a Carfax report. I would definitely stress that point during negotiations with the dealer/dealership. They would absolutely be using that against you if you were trading that car in.

Those were my exact thoughts, it’s not to big of an accident and there’s an extended warranty still on it through Mercedes. Hence why I’m very interested. Low mileage and a long warranty, but I’m still on the fence about giving 2 for 1.

I wouldn’t think about it twice, best to find one with a cleaner carfax. With the $5k claim, you would definitely be taking a hit on resale value.

You must first see what the damage was in the accident reported. If mostly cosmetic and you plan on keeping the car for an extended period of time, the Carfax report isn't as crucial especially if you worked the numbers of the deal and found that without a Carfax report, you should be paying $10,000 plus your two cars. Try to find the value of a clean C63s and deduct around 20%. If that adds up to you trading your two cars and giving $1,000 then the added depreciation from the accident has been taken into account. Also keep in mind, if the car you are looking at has the equipment, milage and warranty you want, finding another one could be difficult.

Have you checked that the accident did not void some or most of the extended warranty? I would be careful.
