Magnet on front passenger seat
The other day I was browsing an Australian AMG forum and across a post which stated that the front passenger seat has a magnet built into the side in order to stick the seatbelt anchor point to it so it doesn't rattle.
Tried it on my car yesterday and what do you know...it's true. It seems like I am always learning something new about this car.

How are you finding it? Is yours holding?

My snap was a pretty s*** quality, it was meant for my brother who also has a 63.

It is pretty much the spot in the photo, just got home from some twisty roads with a mate and the buckle didn't fall off once. The magnets seem pretty strong in my seats and the passenger seat wasn't in line with the b pillar either.
"Well, I'll be damned"
Tried to have the latch wrapped over the side bolster, but that never stayed. Then recently started just connecting the seatbelt. This changes things.
I wish that the magnet was lower down the seat, to where the bottom stop for the latch is. Looks like you have to manually raise up the belt to place it there.
But I didn't know that from day 1 so I've always used a different method by tucking the buckle on the cobby where it extend out a bit, it stays up there really well and it doesn't budge.
