W205 C63S camber inquiry

MBWorld Fanatic!
Camber is not really by choice...I don't mind if it would not be for the edge wear.
Front toe was 0.03/-0.11 now adjusted to +0.15/0.13 but I need to go back to check again as they messed up and punched the wrong car (AMG GT vs C63) into the computer. Front camber was and is -3.1/-2.8 and rear is -2.7/-2.4.
If you look at it on the street it does not look all that much camber...picture below is before the KW-HAS settled a bit though.

I have the same issue. I'm on H&R VTFs and about as low as you Tobeit. Go through a pair of sport cup 2's every 5k in the front as well on my coupe. Rears last about twice that. What a waste of good rubber!

Tires still look like they have plenty of life still. More than double the kms on my current tires and your on hr springs too.
Curious what your camber and toe numbers were after lowering.
I will be able to take a look at my tires in 2 weeks when the car goes in for an exhaust.

2. @ShaneN. Tires don't look bad at all. Do you by chance have your alignment specs you can share with us? Toe and Camber specifically?

It seems to me that there are some that are lowered and don't get excessive tire wear and some do.
I just stuck my head under my bumper to take a closer look at my front tires and they seem like their fine.
My springs should have settle so I'll get my alignment checked again when I get my exhaust installed and share the before and after specs. Also curious to see how my rear camber arms held up.

sure did. Prior to your car being aligned, your total front toe was -0.08. That promotes the inside tire wear your were seeing. After your alignment you are now toe-in. This should promote more outside tire wear.
the actual toe measurements wouldn’t change with the incorrect vehicle selection. Only the target values would.

It all has to do with dynamic loads. The reason you run a lot of negative camber is because under cornering loads the outside tire will flatten out and you’re trying to prevent rolling onto the side wall. The toe-in (positive toe) will cause the out edge of the tire drag and this would be a bad mix especially when accelerating out of the corner.

It took me a while to sift through all the text but finally found what I needed - pasted right at the end of the post above are specific install instructions. Doesn't look like it should be too bad! My car is going in on Tuesday to get Eibach springs and KMAC 503316-1G (front only) installed.
