I watched my mechanic pop off the grill and put a new one on my buddy's E63S Wagon in about 20 minutes. He also changed my spark plugs in 30 minutes 2 weeks ago.
It is amazing how fast true top mechanics are and how nothing phases them.

Experience techs seem to know how much force to use to pop fasteners off without breaking them, but with enough force that it seems easy.
Whenever I watch the techs work on the car, I'm always like "crap I can do that", but then I try my own and i'm triple checking and taking my time.

I didnt think about that part, it was more about having optimal tools and time. Plus they lined everything up better then I probably would have. Fenders, bumper, grill and so on

I’ve been reading that, and because of it probably won’t order anything else there. I got lucky I suppose.
