I just picked up a 2017 C63s AMG yesterday, my first AMG (super stoked!!)
I wonder if someone might have some information as my google searches has left me with no valuable information;
On the dashboard, on the passenger side, next to the air vent, there is a chrome autograph of Ayrton Senna.
Does anyone have any information of this?
I know if its a numbered production its normally a plaque showing 3 of 50 for example, but i have not seen anything like this.
I'll post some photos tomorrow, almost midnight here in Norway.
Seems strange to me for a owner to fit a chrome autograph onto the leather on the dashbord like that. (And as mentioned, Senna is normally associated with McLaren).
I bought it from a dealer but I have the name of the owner who had traded it in, I can see if he has any information on it.
Senna did race a DTM EVO 1 at some point, see below from a Top Gear Article;"Just two years after this base model launched, the 190 E 2.3-16 arrived on the scene, with 185bhp and motorsport genes. When the new Nürburgring opened in 1984, Mercedes fielded 20 identical 190 E 2.3s for a 12-lap, christening race.
People like Jack Brabham, John Surtees, Alan Jones, James Hunt, Nikia Lauda, Alain Prost and Keke Rosberg all lined up on the grid. And Ayrton Senna. Who, after a tight race, whupped them all."
Sorry for the slow reply, been busy all day.
Added a couple of photos of my new ride and a couple showing the signature / autograph I'm looking for info regarding.
Looks like I have to reach out and ask the previous owner what its all about.
Drivers Seat Facelift front fitted Front Seats Side Profile "Autograph" "Autograph" - #2 Rear (came de-badged, fitted these and changed the front fender ones from chrome to black)
Thanks for the clarification, think its safe to assume the previous owner put this tacky sticker on for some strange reason. (Could have least been a Merc F1 driver if he had to put something there)
i might just go and replace it with a Max Verstappen signature makes just as much sense.

I would vote for Michael Schumacher then...at least German and he did drive for MB in his early days.

Haha, your car is special enough it doesn't need a signature
Nice one! But personally if I were put anything F1 related on my AMG it would have to be Lewis Hamilton
I would never put LH on my car! i respect what he has done, but the legwork was done by the mercedes factory.
When they put George Russel in the same car he took the lead twice in the same race.
and he is a moaning wannabe politician, shut up and race 😉
