Options on 21 C63s

All, need some quick info that is not clear on MBUSA. I am offered to swapy my PFL for 21 FL fresh from boat and try to figure out what options are now standard.

- digital display - are their upgrade options? Don't see them when busing car on MBUSA
- performance seats...still optional and not standard?
- lighting options?

Thanks!

Get'em while you can. Just read in the W213 forum that AMG has cancelled all 2022 V8 orders due to fleet average fuel efficiency. There might not be any 2022 C63S coupes and cabs after all.

Ouch. I can get an obsidian black straight from boat but does not have the performance seats, adaptive cruise control and lighting package. Has most other important stuff.

Dealer would transfer my mods as much as possible but not sure if KW HAS from PFL fits the FL.

Geez, inventory it tight. Was looking at a few dealers here in SoCal and only one has 2 C63S on the lot (MB Temecula). Probably too far for you dealer to do a trade and I'm not sure the cars have all the features you are looking for.

Had my dealer search nation wide and apparently there are none with performance seats and only one with all other options I want but selenite gray.

So, my dealer found a 21 C63s with driver assist, park assist, interior CF and CF steering wheel, multimedia pack, night package, lighting package...only thing it has not I have currently is performance seats and HUD. Selenite gray vs my white. Dealer would move my major mods (wheels, suspension, body kit) over.

Opinions?

Coupe or Sedan!?

Inventory is VERY low. Most places are at the final and there will be few deliveries over the coming months.

I have a selenite grey - i'm 50/50 on it. Thinking of trading it for a different color. If you're not 100% into it - don't get it.

I will say that Selenite grey metallic is ehh but selenite grey magno (or if you XPEL steatth selenite grey metallic) is unreal.

It's a cool color. Has like a greenish hue at certain lights and when it pops it looks great. But when it doesn't it looks pretty dull IMO.

If I were to do it again I wouldn't have bought my 2020 (which i literally bought 3 weeks ago) and am looking for a trade

Sedan as I like to have 4 doors and can transfer my PSM ki it etc.

Yeah, the color (selenite gray metallic) is not my favorite either. Tough one as there are not many left.

I literally wrestled with the same decision as you.

Don't do it if you don't love the color or the XPEL stealth PPF to make it matte isn't in your budget. You're going to look at it and it's going to eat at you.

I compromised on rims, color and carbon fiber trim on the interior and I regret it. Now I have to spend 8-9k to get the car looking how I want. Which would be sick but still...

Granted, I got a GREAT deal on the C63S as it was a 2020 with 7k miles and 42 months of warranty left, but I wish I had just taken the value for my trade and used it as a down-payment.

TBH, I probably wouldn't do it, unless I happened to find exactly what I wanted. For me, decisions made under pressure ultimately always end up in regret. I think the time to get one of these brand new has come and gone. It's down to the leftovers.

100% agreed.

For all the hassle i would have rathered spec'd a 2021 last year.

Iridium silver metallic, black cross-spokes with yellow stitching, night package, performance seats, HUD, carbon fiber interior, multimedia and that's it really. $87k boom

You probably right. It's just teasing me with high trade in value and new warranty...and of course the differences between PFL and FL.

Really hoping that thread isn't accurate. Obviously we know the V8 C63 is going away but I wasn't ready to say bye to the V8 big boys just yet.

Cool. A swap? How much do you have to pay on top?

Or are you leasing/financing?

I know this is totally a different idea but would you consider a Tesla? Model 3 Performance or even better a model S plaid, I recently test drove a model Y performance and man that thing is faster than my c63s at least to 100 mph. I ordered one but willl take about 2 months due to demand and shortages. I’m still keeping my c63s but got my eyes on. S plaid hopefully in the future. 0-60 mph in 2 seconds. Nothing can touch it, not even a Chiron. Test drive one if you can, it might change your mind. I also love the tech. Only down side is it’s super quiet.

Still negotiating based on what they find for me. Condition is also they move all my mods (as much as possible like wheels, suspension, PSM kit etc).

If I would go EV I would go Taycan. If I stay with none-EV and not C63s I would move to GT or 911. Just something enticing me to own the last generation and model year of the AMG V8's w/o any EV assistance. Pure speed is not my main goal...there will always be faster cars.

All great choices. You can’t go wrong with any of the cars mentioned.
As much as I love the 911, I just see so many of them. I don’t see a lot of GTs but when I do, man it has such a presence with that long hood and wide body.

Totally agree on the 911 - they are everywhere here. Therefore I would want to have a turbo S or GT3 but it gets expensive. Just recently test drove a GT/GTS but the wife reminded me I still need my car for family runs. We often go out for dinner, beach or other mini vacations and take our son(s). We already have another 2 seater in the garage.
The C63s just us a very well rounded car - can use it as daily, still has that marvelous V8 and it looks pretty sporty/nice with some mods.

So how did this all happen? Did they approach you or something or did you go looking yourself?

They approached me. I am a pretty known customer at my dealer (all service and sales guy's know my car) and the SA who sold me my car new keeps following up - upsell - tries to get me into a new or different car (E63s, GT, C63s...). Doing his job selling cars, I guess. As trade-in values go up I get new offers/proposals sent to me.
