race exhaust mode
Greetings to all, longtime reader, first time posting. I have a 2017 C63S Coupe. Race mode transmission works but have lost the race performance exhaust mode. My mechanic had it on the lift and I manually went throught the settings via the center console and all others worked. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The center h-pipe flap should be perpendicular to the car when sport exhaust enabled. The flaps at the mufflers should be parallel to the car.

UPDATE: My mechanic had the car for 2 days and tried every conceivable flap postion and no improvement in sound in race mode. He called a tech at one of the local dealerships and the tech said that there is no sound difference between sport+ and race. I personally know that to be bull*^$# because the few times I used race mode when I first picked up the car it was exceptionally louder. Any help or suggestions going forward would be most appreciated.

There are only 2 settings for the adjustable exhaust: on and off; either the flaps are positioned to make more noise or they're not.
When you set the car to Sport+ or Race, it activates the louder exhaust. Obviously, this can also be done in any drive mode by using the exhaust toggle button on the center console.
There will be no exhaust sound difference between Spot+ and race. The only audible difference may be in shifting speed and how long the car holds a gear.
