Black or Silver Factory Rims on Diamond White C63s Coupe?
Hey everyone...my new 2021 coupe should finally be here next week! Initially, I was planning to swap out the factory black rims with the factory silver rims. I even picked up a nice used set. But now the black rims are kind of growing on me so I'm not sure if I should go through with the swap.
Here's a couple of comparison pics from the MB build site. The last pic is not my car but looks exactly like mine (except my tint is 30% all the way around). What are your thoughts, black or silver?

Wheels are a very personal choice. They can change the entire vibe/look of a car. Going to depend on whether you want a more sport/aggressive look or if you are going for classy.
I'm a younger guy and so I got the black wheels on mine. My dad went for the silver spokes on his black S

I can give you another example since you already had pictures with designo silver.
As other have mentioned, it's a very personal choice, but from my observation, white+black rims are very common on C63s, as well as designo grey+black rims.
Silver rim gives more of a luxury feel instead of sporty, IMO.

Thanks for all the replies and feedback! I might just keep both sets and alternate every few months. I will be swapping out the factory tires with Michelin 4S 305/30/20 R and 265/35/19 F. I’ll flip a coin to see which color wins the honor of breaking in the beast lol!

I had that indecision dilemma when I ordered the car. I changed my mind twice and had my sales associate changed the build sheet to silver. I am very happy with the way they look. If you look carefully at the silver wheels, The polished silver facing out seems to be polished, coated aluminum, not silver paint. Another great feature is that the rest of the wheel that isn't facing out is painted a nice gray that really hides the brake dust along with giving good contrast especially with a silver or white color car. Take a look at the black rim and they show more dirt. The flat finish makes it more difficult to clean. This was noted by several people who answered my post when I asked the same question. A gloss black would be much better. SILVER gets my vote!!!
