2017 C63 Engine Knock/Tick Sound

Hello,
I have a 2017 C63 with a weird Knock/Tick sound form the motor. It goes away usually, but comes back on cold starts and when the car is still warm and has been sitting. I took it to my mechanic (He's a certified master technician for Mercedes with over 20 years experience). He changed all the pulleys and both of the belts. Sound went away but came back. We are both stumped. He has called the dealer and talked to other mechanics at Mercedes and none of them know what the sound is. Any help would be grateful. Some other posts say it might be timing chain guides, but those posts never followed up with the fix was. Oil was recently changed also. I've attached a video. Car only has 32,000 miles.
Thanks!!!

Mercedes said the sound was normal, so I'm not surprised that he wasn't able to find the issue instantly, especially from reading the other forums regarding this issue, it seems everyone that has this issue has a tough time diagnosing it. I'm five months outside of warranty, but I'm taking the car back to Mercedes and asking for goodwill assistance with this issue under warranty. Its my 6th Mercedes and I've never had an issue with any of my motors. This is a first.

So I'm assuming the proper thing to do is to have all the guides and the timing chain replaced since its going to be opened up. Is there any other parts you would suggest to have replaced while they have it open?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

You should have someone rev the engine to see how the sound changes at different RPMs. TI sounds normal. Might want to look into using different oil if its just during cold start temps.

And the saga continues........ Mercedes said they "could not replicate customer's concern." And when I picked it up, the sound was gone. Thoughts?
And yes, my air filters are clean, and my muffler bearings have been oiled too. ; )

Exactly what I did. I changed the oil to Liqui Moly. After the oil change, the first time I fired it up the sound went away within 2-3 minutes. I still notice the sound on cold starts but it goes away after the motor is warmed up and the oil temp hits 170. It's still there, but it baffles me that it goes away.

Which sucks because now i'll need to allocate 10-12k aud somewhere in the near future in case mine starts doing the same thing........... which I know it will

Unfortunately if the sound is there, it's not going to be fixed by using different oil. It may dampen the cricket noise but it'll still need to be done sooner or later.

And how long will the new timing chain guides last until they play up again after they're fixed?? Hopefully there will be more developments on this fix in future etc.

Yeah that's how I'm starting to feel too. Seems like this issue might be an inevitable thing?

Yes! I took it to another Mercedes dealership, showed them the video, showed them the noise and I just received a call that the car is ready and that the knocking/chirping noise is gone. It was due to bad purge valves. So everyone was wrong, and it only cost $400. What a relief. When they called me yesterday I was expecting them to send me a $10k - $12k quote to fix the problem based off of all the "experts" on this thread and other threads, but that wasn't the issue. I got extremely lucky!!
