Dilemma- e63s v c63s
I just sold my 2017 c63s in hopes of upgrading to another c63s 19 or 20, maybe even a 20.
The more and more I was “being bored” looking at e63s’s, the more and more I started to really want one.
My dilemma,
I can go with a 19, maybe a 20 e63s with 15-20k miles.
or
I can go with a 20, maybe a 21 c63s with 5-15k miles.

2016 C63 S AMG
Both great cars, but very different in their execution. Let your use case decide your choice. If you want a do everything straight line missile that can also carve up twisties with ease, and do the daily work, go with the c63. But if you simply want a faster straight line missile with more room and more posh, but that feels very big and a bit lazy on back roads, go with e63.

There is no contest ....E63s ... better car all the way around ....AWD !! nuf said .... Better interior , easier to lower , better looking then a c63s coupe anyday and so much faster and so much more potential ...I'd never consider a C if I could buy an E

Interesting polls results. I came from an '18 E63s which was a lemon and Mercedes end up rebuying. I actually find my C63s more enjoyable to drive. Yes, the E63s had more power, AWD and a nicer interior, but the smaller footprint of the C63s is more enjoyable as a daily driver IMHO.

I prefer the look, size, and feel of my C63S coupe, which my daily driver. I’d trade for an E63S if I need more of a family car down the line, but if it’s just for my own driving enjoyment I wouldn’t trade it.

I like looks of the new E63s, 2021 over C63s sedan or coupe. I have yet to actually see a new E63s on the road. I have never driven an E63s so I don’t know which is better. I do like the idea of going 0 to 60mph in 3.1 seconds and doing 1/4 mile in under 11 seconds.

I went with the C63s as the E63s was just too big for where I live and our lifestyle.
Both amazing cars and you cant go wrong with either choice.
C63s - Last of the V8 C class.
E63s - AWD V8 TT monster!

C63s Coupe
I'm basing my decision on C63 coupe, not sedan. The coupe just feels nimble, looks sleek. But ive never driven the sedan.
If i was buying the sedan, I would likely go with the E63. There is something about that sexy *** Matte blue color and the strait line performance. Down side is no AMG performance seats.
I also agree with the above, it money was no object and I needed a 4 door "sedan", it would be the GT 63s coupe.

IMHO, this comes down to what your requirements are and what you plan to use the car for. The C63, specifically the coupe, is simply all around more fun to drive. It's nimbler, almost 500lbs lighter, lower to the ground, wider track, shorter wheelbase, and proper RWD, so you can drift it at various degrees w/o having to completely turn off the nannies and hope for the best. Especially the FL is highly adjustable with AMG DYNAMICS and the 9-stage traction control, so even if you turn ESP off, you can still control the amount of wheel slip that you are comfortable with.
The E63 has straight line traction advantage thanks to AWD, but is frankly a barge otherwise. Not something for a twisty mountain road. More of a straight line family Autobahn rocket. The notion that the E63 is supposedly the all around better car is complete non-sense. As others have said, if I needed something of that size with 4-doors I'd go for the GT63. Tighter chassis and rear-wheel steering for nimbler cornering. The E63 is for the dad who wants an AMG, but the wife says it has to fit the family.

I love the e53 as a couple. Not sure why they didn’t make the coupe in the 63s….

I heard they didn't make the E63s coupe was because they don't want to cannibalize their sales of the S63 coupe, but that is just what I heard might not be true.

Dilema for my first amg
I am also in a dilema between c63s or e63s, problem is down here in Australia we never got awd e63s 5.5TT because of rhd. So would you still go for e63s rwd if you had to choose between c63s (sedan)? TIA
