W205 C63 downpipes or res delete?

I'm contemplating either res delete with stage 1 or downpipes with stage 2. I love the deep growl it has currently at stock. I want to retain the deep growl but make it louder, what would best option be? People say catless downpipes make it raspy but I've watched a few videos and some sound very similar to stock just louder and more aggressive. Mainly wanted to do downpipes for flames but it's not really a must.

I would recommend sec cat delete. Sounds deep and way louder than stock especially those pops

Secondary Cat delete. It's loud and you'll be happy with it. You do lose a tiny bit of lowdown torque but you gain more in the upper end.......

Downpipes suck and are obnoxious af but up to u.

I'm basing my opinion on videos tbh, most downpipes sound really good and you get some that are raspy. I think if you have a performance exhaust that may also affect the tone? I think I have a performance one as I can control valves and in sports + it crackles. I'm going to speak to msl for advice

Where did you get with this? Interested to know if you got downpipes and how they sound. I’m a facelift owner and had opf delete but it’s still not loud enough even though the deep sound is good. Considering catted downpipes.

I have RedStar catted downpipes on the way for my FL. I chose to go catted because I was able to hear a C63s w/ performance exhaust and catless DPs and did notice a bit of rasp, plus I’ll get less of the exhaust smell in the cabin. Not sure if the owner messed with the PE at all.

Will be fitting and mapping them in the new years and provide updates then. Without the performance exhaust you should do res delete or downpipes.

That’s great - keep us all posted! I have the FL S which has performance exhaust and has no OPF. I’d always want to retain a low volume via a valve closing so for me the options would be:
1) catted downpipes (200 cell I believe is best compromise). I couldn’t deal with smell or rasp.
2) if not 1 then modifying the open valve part of the exhaust back box to eliminate any muffling here but I don’t know whether this would sound good and is a very permanent mod (to later not like).
My warranty is up in the new year so I’ll look further then.
