Could kick myself for selling it...

There's also something to be said for an actual instrument cluster, although I quite like my digital one.
Having said that, there are advantages to the newer cars. Better gearbox, lower gears in low ratios should mean its faster, and you can fix the sound. Other updates also..Get a Brabus 640 tune, keep your warranty, and, well, you won't be sad. I am whizzing around Europe in my Brabus ATM and it is phenomenal.
But sorry to hear of your woes. Only cured by buying one!

Thank you. Yes the seats were specced and are a somewhat rare option. They were Designo White Pearl/Black Nappa leather. They actually had a pearlescent sheen to them that could be seen in the right light. Very nice indeed. I agree with your points however I'm still a big fan of the pre-facelift regardless.
Just curious what did you replace your C63 for?
Beautiful car, sorry it’s gone.

A lot of C63 drivers seem to move onto Porsches. I drive pretty tame and like a nice V8 rumble with pops and bangs on normal driving. My next car would be used GT63S, similar to C63s but better imo.

Spirited driving from time to time is more my style.
Having owned my car for 4 years, an upgrade is in my sights for 2023.

Try and get another one if you can. Even if it doesn't have those nice seats or same spec, check out the auctions and see if you can get one even just as a cheaper restomod and restore her as a project. That's what I would do.
I'm never selling mine I've had my fair share of supercars and sports cars but this one, for some reason, has a special place in my heart. I don't know I guess because it's looks beautiful and has so much road presence and goes hard.
Even if she needs a few parts here and there every so often.......
I'll still be here in 40 years with my C 63 S even when you blokes are flying around or whatever 😋

PS: and as much as I loved my C63s its just a different car than the Porsche, which is designed as a sports coupe from ground up and you can recognize the difference quickly. I never could turn into corners as fast with the C63s...even with lowered, stiffened suspension it just is much more top heavy and the heavy engine in front vs the rear engine in the Porsche are just too big differences to overcome. The 992 might be a little too good in a sense that its not as violent as older generations and just handles so much better that until you really reach its limit its pretty easy going.

But what about a GTc? I sometimes think on selling mine to get one….🙈

Although the sound isn’t that good on the BS 😕, but can be fixed I’m sure.
Not a good daily so perhaps getting into another C63S would be a good idea.

I test drove a couple of PFL’s before deciding to just pay the extra cash for much more car. I’ll admit the sound is better in the PFL, but I heard the FL starts opening up with more fireworks once you reach the 5-10k mile range. I’m about 1k away from there at the moment so we’ll see if the sound picks up.
Superswiss, you say the pops and bangs seem artificial, yet we have artificial sound piped through our FL speakers. Which I don’t think was necessary, in my opinion that’s one of the only cons the FL has over the PFL.

Just skip to 11:00
Once upon a time the bloke promised owners here to help out with his "inside amg" info on the exhaust sound of the facelift but ended up being a charlatan and couldn't do it. Our boy Jimmy told him straight over here
