I don't care for the fish face. Not to mention this car is a porker coming in at almost 4800 pounds. It's also an imposter being called a 63 and it's the exact same shenanigans Porsche did giving a "Turbo S" moniker to a Taycan. At the end of the day the car companies are just having to comply with all of the BS politicians are told to foist (legislate) on us by their overlords.
I think it looks good, not amazing but good and better looking than the w205 C63.
What I don’t like is the 4 cylinder and fake electric sound pumped in and outside the car. I really don’t like this thing weighs almost 4700 lbs for a compact. It’s like the size of an S class.

My 2017 coupe weighed 4300lbs and the w205 pumps fake sound in the stereo also after 2018 with the added particle filter.
When is the last time you heard a 2020+ c63 rev? They are over 50% less lauder than the older cars.
Keep in mind the car grew and is almost 4 inches longer and basically on an e class body. The car has way more room than our 205s inside the cabin.

It's only 300lbs heavier than the old car and alot bigger.
I can't imagine pulling up to a Cars & Coffee or some other event in my buzzy sounding "four banger" AMG badged as a 63. Sucks - it's what the World is coming to.

Is that with you in it? The shipping weight of my 2019 coupe is 4033 lbs. I have the documents since I did ED. The coupe is also heavier than the sedan because the pano roof is standard. The sedans shipping weight is w/o pano roof. Add the pano roof to the W206 and it'll be over 4800 lbs. The W205 shipping weight is under 4000 lbs because of the lack of standard pano roof. I don't think people realize how much heaver this car is. You have to realize the shipping weight is w/o any optional equipment, so this car starts at ~4700 lbs and will only get heavier with optional equipment added. My C63S felt super light after I drove the GT 63 S in Germany a couple of months ago, and that's a roughly 4700 lbs car. The E Performance is 5300 lbs. Also no OPF for us here in the USA.

This is what I thought too, until superswiss mentioned that piped sound through our speakers hasn't really been confirmed yet.
The FL is 50% less louder? That's really stretching it. I've driven a couple of PFL's before buying my FL coupe. The FL is by no means 50% less loud. I'd say they're very close to the same decibel level when idling or cruising. The exception is that the PFL pops and bangs with just about every rev and shift, whereas the FL only pops and bangs when it really needs to. The FL sounds amazing. Definitely a hell of a lot better sounding than the new W206 which I'm guessing will have to use fake speaker sound to make up for the pathetic sound of its 4 cylinder hybrid.

Think you need to get your facts straight.
Just to add further PFL do not have fake sounds pumped in. W206 will have speakers outside the car to extenuate the E sound.
W206 did grow bigger but if you open the trunk, there’s a huge hump because of the battery.
So less trunk space.

I think what Scratch77 is saying is that post 2018 W205 C63’s (i.e, facelifts) have fake exhaust sound piped through the speakers. However, this has not been officially confirmed.

Lol ok ive literally seen it in xentry and you can even test the sound. My coupe was fully optioned along with the perfume in the glove box. It was like 4260 with the bigger wheels added in the mix.

I took a picture of it and trying to find it.
As I said, for comparison it doesn't matter what a specific coupe weighed. It matters what the base weight is, called the shipping weight. And that is 4033 lbs for the C205 and 4650 lbs for the W206. On top of that comes additional weight based on options you add. So bigger wheels and stuff will add more weight. Some of the options also reduce weight such as the CCBs and the lightweight RXC wheels for example. I have the RXC wheels on my coupe for example and recently lifted one of the rear wheels. Struck me how light they were. So between an equally configured C205 and W206 you gonna have a 600 lbs weight difference no matter how you skin this cat.
Here is the sound generator for you face lift guys! Pull it out and see how your car sounds!
So the mentioning of 2015 model year in the description didn't stand out to you? This module was brought up in a similar thread about 3 years ago and it was found that it isn't installed in the FL. It's related to an acoustic package. It comes up incorrectly in the parts search. This module is found in the regular C Class.
Since no one posted a pic. I don't think it looks bad. Kind of hard to write off the power it'll make. If the C is giving off that much, imagine what the higher tier cars will!

How much more can the other cars have? I don't think they can do much more with the 4 cylinder engine. So, that leaves putting in a larger battery which can yield more power, but at the cost of even more weight. EV's weigh a lot. They can put the weight down low, but weight is weight, and you feel it. It really changes the dynamics of the driving experience. From what I've seen, the CLE Coupe will get the same set up, which likely means I'll pass on the car. It will be interesting to see the reviews and how they speak about the weight gain.

Looks are not bad, interior is night. The power of the bigger models should be similar to the GT 63 S E, which CarWow did not really love. He felt the power delivery was not smooth and the added weight offset the straight-line gains on a track. I would imagine this is similar to the new C63. Unfortunately for places like California this will be how they have to sell these cars soon. I do think there is some sanity creeping through with Toyota executives plainly stating there are not enough resources for every car to be an Battery EV, and Dimon yesterday testifying that the green push has actually increased carbon output.
It does not look ugly. We are just all disappointed by its four cylinder engine. Let's wait until MB puts in the hybrid V8 of the AMG GT for the Black Edition release in two years from now. The enlarged chassis has already been engineered and tested on the Nordschleife. There is room under its hood to put the mighty V8.

Also disappointed about its weight, I can't imagine the fun or lack thereof tossing this thing around corners : (
The total HP sound great but it only for 10s in full power then the power fall completely on your face with the juice run out. That’s horrible feeling when you racing.

It is an odd setup. The full power is only available if you trigger a kickdown. So full pedal to the metal past the switch at the end of the throttle pedal and then as said it's only for up to 10 seconds. It won't be out of juice at that point, but the battery can only delivery so much power before overheating. This is why the GT 63 SE didn't feel any faster than the regular GT 63 S on the track. I roll into the throttle for proper balance instead of just stomping it. I rarely use kickdown even on the street. I manually downshift into the proper gear and then roll into the throttle, so not getting full power that way is rather silly. I'm generally not a fan of these boost power setups. Porsche does the same with the Taycan. Who is this for? The Taycan for example only delivers full power when using launch control .
