Is it an S motor?
If not, there are quite a few internal differences between the 63 and 63S motors.

According to our AMG rep the block is the same. Pistons, connecting rods, turbos and software tuning are different. Can't remember if the heads are.
Also, the S motor has the dynamic motor mounts. Fluid filled mounts that can stiffen up to increase chassis rigidity

I'm sure with some more digging I may be able to find that answer but maybe not.. it is probably something very small with either cooling passages in the block.

I see the option code for the glc engine also has F093 which you can read the description for that code. But the vehicle needs to have one of those 2 codes to apply with that. so F253 or F093.

The C class is only listed for one option code which is the model year/chassis

Nice info you're posting and have access to. What program are you using? I need that

Doesn't look like WIS or EPC?

Yeah this is the XHPI with the Xentry Portal, Im a parts advisor so i have my own D7 Login for it. I tried asking my foreman if he knew what the differences could be, he wasn't sure really. He said they could be the same but Mercedes may just want two different numbers for the models
