My garage noticed a screw in my rear passenger tire tonight. (See photos). The tire is only about 1 month old. My 45 minute drive resulted in no lose of tire pressure.
I'm not sure if the screw penetrated the tire but will bring it over to All Tire shop tomorrow to see if it can be plugged or should get a new tire.
Will be changing to winter tires in about 1 month.
So just looking for opinions for safety concerns if a plug would be advisable noting where the screw is located or just get a new rear

If you call a dealership, they'll have a flatbed dispatched. They don't plug tires. New tire. If you take out the screw it'll tell you how far it penetrated. Use that to determine if you want to drive at terminal velocity with a questional tire; or not. And no one, nobody, will plug that hole that close to the sidewall. Good luck.
New tyre 100%. That looks deep. There’s a chance that the tyre will malfunction/explode when you’re going let say 80mph and up. Better to spend a couple hundred and be safe

That sucks bud you'll need a replacement but once you get it sorted you'll have peace of mind instead of stressing about a blow out each time you drive.
If you want to, just put the winter tires on and just replace it before summer.
Update: I bought my car over to All Tire this morning and the tech stated the screw did not penetrate in any way the tire. He simply removed it and stated no damage to the tire. I guess the rear tire being almost new prevent the head of the screw from penetrating the tire.

Looks like a happy ending, that is also a short screw. Glad to hear you didn't get screwed (ie. the shop could had lied about the damage)
FWIW, the last several times I've needed tires, I purchase them from Tire Rack (yes, I know they were bought) and have the tires delievered to my Dealership. There's a few reasons why. First, Tire Rack gives you a free tire hazard plan. It works and I like free stuff especially when it works. The other, only the Dealership messes with the wheels. The reason is simple: any damage done to the vehicle or wheels, it's Porsche's fault. Not Discount or NTB or... One throat to choke; one number to call.
My passenger side rear tire is plugged. I had a nail completely go through it. I don't drive aggressive enough to warrant a new tire or tires for the rear. Took it to a reputable shop that I've trusted with all of my vehicles that are out of warranty. They didn't charge me because I give them enough business and send them business. I tipped the technician $100 and everyone is happy. Plug has been in for a almost 4,500 miles. Never had an issue.
Now, my wife's GLC43.... I've had to replace two tires on her AMG. She is a complete magnet for road debris. Literally had a utility blade, long ways, embedded into her rear tire. No plugging that one. HAHA!

You don’t drive aggressively? DRIVING on a plugged tire is never safe. Ever. But hey, your life…
If it had penetrated, my vote would have been a plug. Done many myself. Too much reinforement in modern tires for them to blowout or tear apart. BTW, I have plugged tires at that the location of the screw you had. The only difficult part to that was going through the STEEL BELT reinforcement located in that area. Chances of becoming a statistic is far higher traveling
at a spirited high of speed with a good tire as opposed to tire blowout from a plug.

I've used plugs successfully for years if they are in the middle of tread, but that screw is pretty close to the weaker sidewall.
Take it out...It might not leak? If it leaks, get a replacement.
