Hack to fix w205 panoramic sunroof

Does anyone know of a way to fix the common and dreaded sunroof issue on the w205s? I have an out of warranty 2017 C63 and my roof recently made the noise we all fear and won't close fully now. I just think there HAS to be another way because everything works except for that final motion of tucking the roof in and I really don't want to pay $1200 for that. I've attached videos showing where mine goes wrong and the little plastic piece that I have found. I have looked through all of the threads and have not found a single HACK, everyone is saying fix the rails. If you have some method of doing it without replacing both rails, please let me know, thanks.

Have you tried a mallet?

. Just kidding. Not aware of a hack to fix broken rails. I have to say I never had a sunroof/panoroof fail on me, but I rarely actually open them. I like the light and openness it adds to the cabin, but other than occasionally tilting it up, mine is mostly closed. Then again, I've been bold for many years, so the California sun will just combust my head

Yes, instructions are provided with the product that I made.
The install for a beginner takes just about 30 mins or les, and requires minimal tools, and NO removal of the roof liner!
Still working like a charm on my C63, and I have sold a handful of kits now without any negative feedback!

Hi axelwphoto. This hack sounds almost too good to be true but I'm very intrigued by it. My issue with the panoramic sunroof currently is it won't slide back and can only tilt up on one side. Will the product and fix you have for purchase solve my described issue before I go ahead and purchase the parts? I'm assuming the majority of the pano issues are caused by the broken clips / guides initially if I'm not wrong. Thanks.
