Not so far. As previously mentioned, the S 5 is only made as a bespoke OE tire for specific new cars, and not as a general aftermarket tire available for older cars. The only way you can get it, is if there happens to be a size and load rating overlap with our cars. There are several MO1 versions of the S 5 for cars such as the new GT63 etc., but they use different sizes and probably load ratings as well, since those cars are heavier.
Time for a change its coming and wanted to fit them…😎
Spring is here and I also did not want to wait. So I also needed and but more importantly wanted a new set front and rear tires.
They are great in all conditions and just had the alignment done. See photos below.
If you think about it.... Star tires on a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, makes sense, doesn't it? Makes more sense than on a bmw, Mercedes and the star go hand in hand.

The Super Sport is outdated. It's the predecessor of the PS4S. BMW Star or not, it's three generations old by now. The Super Sport is what comes stock on these cars, at least the coupe with 19/20" wheels and I wasn't a fan after having had the PS4S on my previous car. Replaced them with the generic PS4S as soon as they were worn and haven't looked back. Now having had the BMW Star PS4S for a while, I won't go back to the regular PS4S anymore. The latter is an improvement across the board. Better ride, better steering response, better grip (at least dry grip) and better handling. The only area where it gives up a bit of performance over the regular PS4S is in wet handling, but living in NorCal with 300 dry days on average, wet performance is at the bottom of my list. Have you seen this video that shows how different the BMW Star PS4S is?
