Well after golf, we had my wife's baby shower today...my only request was that none of the guys would be part of those inane baby shower games...SO we were relegated to my brother-in-laws garage with cigars, scotch, and poker...we were good with that.

We had some choice smokes...not to mention scotch.

Aging Room Quattro F55 Concerto Churchill...a new box I bought this week...HIGHLY recommend after smoking this tonight.

2006 Ashton VSG Illusion...what can I say...a VSG is great but one 7 years aged is perfection.

Montecristo (non-Cuban) Epic...a stogie that my other cigar buddy gave me tonight...box worthy.

Opus X Perfecxion 77 Shark...a milder version of the Anejo shark...great in its right...

And scotch selection...we (6 guys) had a glass of each and some of us 2 or 3 rounds...I'm buzzed as I type this...

Cafe Con Leche Cigars are so good! I honestly do not even know where to get them as all of our stores here in NY stopped ordering them. The Padron's look great as always Jon

Liga Privada T52 and Padron 3000

Ended up meeting up with two good friends of mine from Lebanon. We all enjoy cigars. They both enjoyed a fresh hand rolled in house brand while I enjoyed the Liga Privada T52. A solid great cigar as always and the Padron 3000 Unfortunatly I left my phone in the car.

Yeah.. it's a beast.. it's running about 1k hp and doesn't weight all that much.. we went to the "sand drags" and tore a bunch of others up pretty well but only got it up to about 100mph.. on sand it's pretty fast.. it's not smooth out there at all.. i should post some video.. these cars are fun as hell though.. they handle getting air pretty well and go straight up walls of sand a few hundred yards long.. check you tube and search "glamis" for some highlights.. always a bunch of hot chicks in bikini's too.. Goodtimes.

Decided to have an impromptu guys weekend before I'm on lockdown when my baby girl comes out of mama. Packed up some cigars and scotch and bourbon...poker table...headed to Reunion Resort and Golf Club in Orlando and booked a 3 bedroom villa.

Here is our view from our patio...

The important packing...

Thursday late round cigars...Cafe con Leche and Padron Exclusivo

Friday afternoon cigars...Cafe con Leche, Padron Exclusivo, Liga Privada Feral Pig, and Oliva V Melanio

Last night @ Corona Cigar and Stogies Lounge in Orlando...2006 Fuente Fuente Opus X Chateau Reserve and Padron 1964 No. 4

GOOOOD TIMES! I hope ya'll have a great weekend...stay safe, stay lit and nicely toasted!

Looks like one hell of a weekend Jon Good life living on this thread as per usual I love to see others having fun! What kind of cigar is that the long one with the "A" on the wrapper?

I have a bad cold right now so I will be taking a break from cigars at the moment maybe for a week or so. sore throat, stuffy nose and coughing.

You referring to the Cusano 18? They can be a bit tricky to find -- I know Thompson carries them, but it's rare to find them in a cigar shop.

Flavor reminds me of a Padron 3000, but without that slight chocolate/cocoa note. They've recently come out with a Cameroon (light blue label) that I've yet to try. That being said, I've never met a Cameroon I didn't like. Silky smooth... Thompson also carries a Cusano 1997 (silver/orange wrapper) that is scarce as hen's teeth nowadays... if you can find a Cusano of any model, grab it as they're inexpensive but reliable. Like a cheeseburger, in a way

George...that is the Liga Privada, the Único Serie A!, a T52 style blend. I liked it...not as much as the T52 but still a good cigar.

Things have gotten much better, Bill, thanks for asking. I attribute most of my AR relief due to dropping about 10 lbs or so. I don't think I really have any 'trigger foods', although if you watched me eat, you'd swear I was heading for problems. I had hot sauce or salsa with every meal, peppers, jalapenos, lots and lots of spicy condiments, etc. I've cut out most of that stuff and incorporated more raw vegetables into my diet.

I haven't taken any pics of recent smokes as I haven't had many lately - it's been too damn cold! Things started warming up lately, so I'll be puffing again soon. I'm gonna give you a call as well.

I bought my first T52 last fall and have loved them just as much as the #9's. I will have to give the "A" a try as well!

Jon, I owe you some thanks.

Tried two per your recommendation -- The Epic and the Tabak...

The Epic was a great smoke. Very mild (characteristic of all Montecristos I've smoked) and the cigar had a chewy/leathery construction. I tend to prefer them a little firmer with a looser draw, but this one did not disappoint. Cigar came into its own at about the halfway mark... hard to put down.

As for the Tabak, I found the maduro (Red Eye) as well as the lighter one (Dulce)... Couldn't find the Cafe Con Leche, so I grabbed the dulce since the body is the same wrapper as the CCL. Boy, what a great flavor. I've never wished for a cigar-sized roach clip, until tonight. Delicious. I WILL be ordering a box of the CCLs hasta pronto.

Long ashes to you guys!!
