JR!! Damn bro, that's some sweet office furniture! 2000ct should take care of your last shipment as least!

Your morning cigars looked good.. How's the Siglo V1 compare to the Padron 1964??
I'm still stuck at the office but I'll get out of here soon and smoke a couple by the pool if things go as planned! You guys enjoy the weekend.. if you had a week like I did, it's much needed and earned! Cheers,
Bill.
BTW, JR.. bottom row, 3 black boxes.. what are they??

Ended up enjoying this little bad boy after dinner this evening. A cooler night it was in NY. Watched the sunset as I enjoyed a Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva Chateau Fuente Maduro. Great little stick for sure. I would not get anything larger then this one. I just do not feel it is a stick I can smoke too much of. Nice flavor to it and it is not too strong.
backdoc7: I personally went I do a Padron I will do a 1926 #6 and #9. The 1964 Anniversary Maduro are the ones to kill for! Those 3 boxes in Jon's humidor are Opus X. I have one of them boxes myself. Another good cigar!

I've been letting them stew in their own greatness for a bit...just for that bit of aging love. Glad you called them out...I need to break those out for some NFL games...just might do it today! I have two tins of the Robusto, 1 of the Perfecxion, and 1 of the Chateau de Reserve...http://www.flickr.com/photos/87204826@N05/7991570835/http://www.flickr.com/photos/87204826@N05/7991570835/ by http://www.flickr.com/people/87204826@N05/, on Flickr

Re: The Opus X, I should have known that.. I have a couple of Singles in the humi I'm waiting for a good occasion to burn one.. Regarding the Punch DC and Romeo y Juileta, those were my daily smokes when I was visiting the island! Brought a few boxes back but I'm getting low. Man, great smokes JR.. those three in a row are hard to beat for sure!
@ George, thx for the advise.. I'll pick up a 1926 #6 and #9 and give them a try.
Have a good week gentlemen!

PS That new humi in the vid above replaces the one between the 2 middle captains chairs in the Suburban...the old humidor/cooler is in the pics below.
Click on pic for slide show...

We took the cooling unit and fans out of that one and transplanted it in the new unit. I ordered a Humi-Care EH Plus Electronic Humidifier to handle the humidification portion.
I got my first 2 of Ebay and the seller and I PM each other so much I just dealt with him directly...

In regards to the Joy de Nic 1970.. I started it on an empty stomach and a couple of XX ambers and I felt it big time by the time the first 1/3 was done.. I immediately ate some left over chicken and rice and it helped.. I had to slow down my smoke rate but like I said, it was much more full body than expected.. I'll make it an after dinner smoke next time!
That 'burb humi project is out of control.. I like the 3rd button on the bottom the best! I have a question regarding a firearm I'm looking at but I think I'll pm you..

Doc7 let us know how you enjoy the Padron's I can assure you that you will buy a box of them if you love the San Lotano's. I will be going cigar shopping Friday after work. I am picking up San Lotano and possibly some Padron's. My bedside humidor is running low.
Tonight I had a chance to chill a bit. This is a La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero. I paired it with a nice pour of Glenlivet 12 and to be honest, it kinda kicked my azz.. but I loved it. Really full body smoke.

C280, thanks for starting this thread!
I've met some very cool people here thanks to you! We'll have to all get together 1 weekend and herf it up...I'm sure it will include golf and guns, judging from the banter. @JR...Anytime you guys are in Florida...call or PM me.
INCOMING:
1. 2 Boxes of Opus X - xXx or by their other name - Power Ranger
2. 10 individual sticks of Padron Milleniums
3. Commissioned new commercial style wall humidor for my house...66" wide x 96" high x 16" depth...dark mahogany with top portion (72") covered with tempered glass doors and bottom portion (24") has 4 cabinet doors for more box storage.
(pics once they get done making it)

After a awful awful day at work today a Padron 1964 would end my day off well along with slow cooked grilled steak
@JR If God's willing someday that does happen it would be all about; cars, cigars, guns and golf. What else is there?

@Jon. Not sure when I will be at my place in Florida next time. It is my crazy time of the year. I would like to fly down sometime after Christmas and stay for New Years.

2 boxes Opus X Belicoso "Power Ranger"
3 Montecristo Open Eagle Tubos
Padron 1964 Exclusivo (1 box Natural and Maduro)
Padron 80yr Anniversary (1 box Natural and Maduro)
Padron Family Reserve No. 46 (1 box Natural and Maduro)
H. Upmann Royal Robustos
Partagas Shorts
Partagas Salamones
Ramon Allones
PS Lovin' the cuban selection as well! I see many of my favorite Habanos in your pics.
The 1964 is mellower and medium to full bodied...the 1926 is more complex but balance and is full bodied...the Family Reserve are just pure gold!
My go to daily cigar (if I had one and only had Padrons in my humidor) is the 1964 Exclusivo...the 1926 is my after dinner smoke...the Family Reserves are for special occasions (everyday I'm alive if I could get away with it...
)To be honest with you...I have not had ONE bad Padron EVER. I think they are probably the most consistent cigar brand out there as far as construction, burn, ash, and flavor. I'm biased and not ashamed to admit it...
Oliva V Melanio...

Bolivar Coronas

Partagas Series D

Padron 1964 No.4...WOW!!!!!!!
