The Padron 1926 are very good cigars...the 80th Anniversary version to me are great cigars. PS I'm getting your cigar care package ready for you.

BTW...I have a shoe fetish too...just golf shoes though.

C280...I believe there will be some new sticks to try...

Some Casa Fuente Double Corona, Opus X Double Robusto, and 1 of 2 Opus X 2011 Charity Box ( http://www.fuenteagedselection.com/o...f2011cigar.pdf )...the second box I'm keeping to age and the first to smoke...

A box of Padron 80th Anniversary Maduros and Don Carlos Presidente should be coming in this week.

JR, that new humidor looks great. I'm assuming the wife approves of your stash?! You must be on a first-name basis with the UPS and FedEx man! BTW, got the car parts package yesterday, sending you a PM.

Happy Holidays to all!

I'm dying to fire up one of those LGC Obeliscos! Those suckers are smaller in real-life than I expected!

JR, what do you do with all your boxes???

Actually, lately I've been just taking just the top off the boxes and leaving the cigars in the box...storing them in the humidor. It takes up more space but I like it because I can remember what type of cigar I'm smoking...especially with the Opus and Padrons...

The boxes before I started doing this I've been using as sort of decorative accents for the sitting/humidor room...like below...

That's a great idea. I'm in need of extra boxes out here in MO. When I moved from Cali I gave away all my cigar boxes, literally about 150-200 boxes or so I collected over the years. My plan was to cut them apart and piece the smaller panels together to make larger "sheets" that I would use to line a walk-in or wine-cooler type humidor.

Quickie review: La Gloria Cubana Obeliscos - Nice, unique figurado shape and construction as one would expect from Ernesto Carillos shop. Started out very mellow for the first few minutes. Actually, I started to feel a little disappointed, to tell the truth. About 1/2" in, the flavor starts to come on and packs a solid medium body (to me, anyways). I'm not gonna tell you it had, "notes of chocolate and cedar, with a hint of buttered toast"....that ain't me. This was just another fine stick from LGC. No spice like their Series R, just good, solid flavor.

If you're a fan of La Gloria, you'll be a fan of the Obelisco. Thanks to AMGfan for the assist.

RedBullJnky...sorry I missed you when you were in town. I actually had to work and couldn't get away. Playing Legacy (in Bradenton) this Saturday if you are in town. We are headed to WW Pine Barrens in 2 weeks...:0

I hit my record number of cigars for a round 2 weeks ago...7...it was a 5 hour round and the only thing saving me from hitting into this ridiculously slow group ahead of us were the stogies...

PS The group in front of me literally watched each of their person in their group hit their shot...don't get me on their ball hawking either. We actually got the ranger to talk to them...we got the stink eye all afternoon and I think they got slower after that...

Let me know how that place is down in Bradenton. I have not played there yet.
