Probably $$$$$. The Renntech airboxes for lesser engines are like ~$1200+

$3950 for the airboxes.... plus $2250 for the engine cover... not cheap... but I am sure it was not cheap to develop either.

Just curious why separate prices for airbox and engine cover...

Are they available separately? From the pic, it looks like they have to be installed as a set.

Hey I agree it looks damnnnn!! Gooood!!! but $6200.00 for 15 extra horses sounds pretty steep...They should just advertise it under the auspice of dress up your engine bay...forget the rediculous 15 ponies that's a joke!

I would say its a little steep too... I bet if it was for a C class it would cost a lot less even if it cost almost as much to manufacture.... probably because they would sell 1000 for the C class and they sell 20 for the CL... damn exclusivity is expensive.

I have one on order
I agree that the HP increase is a joke, but they look very good. I ordered them from Bob, so when I get them I'll let you know what I think.

It's more of a function over form mod, but I'm sure it increases throttle tip in.

The current production only has the logos on the air boxes. So I guess 2 is better than 3. I would like to see only one on the cover.
