DVD movie picture

I just picked up a new 2006 CL500 yesterday and noticed it plays the sound of a DVD but , of course, is filtered from showing the picture.
I'm sure this has been a worn out topic , but does anyone know how to remove the filter which will allow the picture to show???

Thanks in advance

OK. Nevermind, I removed the filter today using the J473 Formatron along with my laptop. The code change was from **7004 to **7001.
Thanks goes to Rick and John for all the research and patience while on the phone. I know you guys had your hands full.

The DVDs even are in HDTV screen format. SpiderMan sounds great in the car!

I will be away for 2 weeks in the Phillipines . Leaving tonight and won't have easy access to internet. Hang on until I get back. Rather complicated answer.
