25-27lbs each, forged wheels are lighter and stronger than cast. 19x8.5" AMG Type 215's weigh 29lbs FYI

I never use RENNTECH modules so I can't comment on the amount of drop (difference) between the two. I'm not sure if I have seen a c215 car with a slam this low on RENNTECH but I could be wrong.

Hey Guys, our project cars (Bentley, 7series CLS, LS400 and this one) are all detailed by a shop in Brooklyn NY called XTREME Car Salon. The guys over there are top notch! I waxed my car on Sunday and remembered why I pay the pro's! lol

If you look really closely you can see their small decal at the top of the windshield.

Yeah that is obvious. However, these wheels look massive and even though they are forged they still look heavy. I would still say they are heavy compared to some other forged wheels but are much lighter than stock AMG wheels for our CL's.

What they appear to be is not really an item. The fact that they are a full faced wheel does not contribute to their weight. And what 3pc forged wheel in the same size and finish are you referring to thats lighter than 26-27lbs?

I wasn't just speaking about the difference between 3, 2, or 1 piece wheels. After a quick check to make sure my memory serves me correctly, here are some lighter wheels and their weights according to wheelweights.net & Tirerack,
20x8.5:
BBS RS-Gt, 22.7 lbs & 20x9.5 is only 24.3 lbs
BBS-RE, 23.1 lbs
Forgetec Ft-15, 24 lbs

20X10:
AC Schnitzer, 22 lbs
BBS LM 26.2

Those wheels, AUTO-COUTURE MAGNIFIQUE 3pc FORGED, are right in line with most/many forged wheel manufacturers and are indeed considered light. They just appear to "look" heavy due to their "bling" look. Truth be told, I don't think anyone is going to be looking for 20" wheels if weight or performance is an issue. Those wheels are for the wow effect.

That was my only point, you kept referencing lighter wheels however you are comparing apples to organges in that different construction types and finishes are obviously going to affect weight. Also keep in mind that different brake clearances (ie, clearance for AMG calipers) also result in more weight no matter what size wheel it is.

Please feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to review the details any further

Thanks for the good potential customer service. It is appreciated. I don't really care for those wheels. They look good for what they are but I wouldn't have them on my car because it is not my style. Those are rap star ghetto and I prefer a sporty rim.

They probably used Zaino on it.

Most show car detailers swear by it. It's expensive and tedious to get on (3 coats?) but once it's on...WOW, look out!
