If you see my car cut you off...It wasn't me!

I can't believe I just did it...

I sold her today to a tech at MB Long Beach. I know I said I was NEVER gonna do it...and I am still sad that I did.

I MISS HER ALREADY!!!

I just put an offer in on a commercial property in Costa Mesa and decided the property was more important than having the depreciating debt of the Benz.

After the deal goes through, I hope to be back on-line and in the forum with a leased W221 or something...

I appreciate all of the insight, advice, and good fellowship I have found here on this forum.

Good Luck to all.

Thanks OC Kid for some of your feedbacks. I wish you the best with your business...good choice on the investment (you'll be driving even nicer cars).

I think you made the right decision. So, how much did you let her go?

Update

After looking at the counter to my counter offer from their first counter, I decided to wait for "the deal" or "steal" as it may be on the right property and I am still looking...

Meanwhile, I had to get back into some sort of a ride because driving in the F-150; though the leather captain's chairs are nice, doesn't work well on Saturday nights or the times when I feel the need for some speed

So I figured on leasing something; keeping in mind the more important investment...but what to get?

I decided to answer Fletcher's persistent calls for me to come over and see this "...1 of 55, IWC special edition..." '06 CLS 55 with 6400 miles on it...

The car was nice; I drove it, I sat down with them, they wanted $1,900 a month on the lease WITH $15,000 down!

Yep, they wanted 123k for the car. (...CL65 or S65 price!...) I had them pull up MBUSA's CPO list showing an average of 84k as being more realistic... I kinda got disgusted all of a sudden and left and that's when it hit me...

Twin Turbo; 335i.

Although it's no CL in terms of the looks department, the thing just smokes 'em and is waay more fun to just flat-out drive compared to the CL.

Anyway... I wanted to thank you guys again for the good words and advice.

Clk & Slk: $37.5

Don't be sad! You did the right thing, I'm actually doing the EXACT same thing, my CL600 will be for sale in a month or so I'm going into a multi family complex out of CA. No better time to buy than now and no better time to sell the CL than now IMO due to the new CL.

I got your PM...Did she look good? I mean the car...

It is very likely that was it...buyer lived in that area.

Here's an update on my situation...I had to get some wheels quick. I went over to the "dark side" last month...already pulling on 911 Carreras; this twin-turbo is in the category of SCARY fast and gets to 155 VERY quickly.

Good to hear from you! Let me know when you guys get another meet on!

LOL... yeah, your old car looked great! Better than the new lady owner driving it But hey, it's hard to look better than a lowered horizon blue CL with nice wheels. I was driving a C230 Service Loaner from M-B of Anaheim, so she didn't even look my way (I got my CL back today, and I was amazed at how much I missed it... as soon as I pulled out of the dealership, I went "ooooooooooh yeah!").

Your 335 coupe looks fantastic! I also had Biltsteins on my BMW 540, 840, and Audi S6. On the S6, I had BBS RXs (back in the 90s), which were very similar to your RS-GTs.
